So I had a dream I was watching a Let's Play of Earthbound Beginnings, but rather than the player head down to Podunk then the graveyard to save Pippi, they went north to some mossy cave with no enemies. It was about not getting lost and taking the wrong stairwells that lead to dead ends, and eventually you come to an outside area where you pluck a leaf from an enormous lotus flower. You go back inside the cave, and eventually you get an enemy encounter with the boss, a floating dress that is said to be a cut enemy from the game. You actually have a long conversation with it, but unfortunately the player skips through all the dialogue boxes, uggggh. When you win, you get a set of masks, each one suited for a different member of the party. They humongously boost your stats (which is especially needed for Loid, who has low defenses for some reason) and one mask is even given to Teddy, who is displayed crawling on the grass on the other side of the world. There's a polygonal Playstation 1-esque cutscene of Teddy getting picked up by an enormous fat green dragon, who has voice-acted unsubtitled dialogue concerned about his quest for revenge and that he ought to strive for something better. Teddy is now on a solo adventure in the clouds, where it plays out like Super Mario Bros. 3 and each space is a platformer stage. Ninten and friends are on the other side of this map, implying that they'll eventually catch up with Teddy and form a four-party team. You can see marked cities and towns that are named after music and various remixes and injokes from Starmen.net. Cue me being excited to play this brand new section of the game.

Except I never do, 'cause I woke up. :(

But holy shit, imagine if it was real. Maybe they can do that for a remake. We could even have a town full of Mr. Saturns! :D

I'm on hiatus from the game for a while, since I burnt myself out. I still have a ton of horror town visits saved on my SD card though, which I'll load later. I stopped playing the day before the hibiscuses bloomed, so I think that's the day I TT back to so I don't lose any of my villagers? The only dreamie I need left is Snake, and it would absolutely suck if someone like Stitches or Ankha moved. Especially my darling Marshie. ;; (Speaking of Marshie, I've visited both the creepy Marshal towns! I'll be looking forward to talking about those. XD)

So life happened. But I don't want to talk about life. I want to talk about fandom.

An AC friend of mine, Alex, found a Mother 1/2/3 town through the Dream Suite where Wendell gave you Magicant tiles. Just what I've been looking for! It's insanely difficult to find Mother 1-based patterns, but now they're finally mine. *-* For those curious, the Dream Code is: 2200-0468-3784. Pretty pleasant place, and you can talk to Lucas, Claus and Kumatora too. :)

I've taken TONS of AC Photos (including shippy ones that I'll give its own post later), but I've still got to organize them and junk. The Shachipanda episode of Creepy Crossing is almost ready, I just gotta comment on the last few photos, type up my theories, and edit. God, that delay took me way longer than I had to. I've been putting off visiting more creepy towns because I've already got so much queued. ;; I'll have to put off showing a town called "Harudin" for a while, since it's based off North Korea and I'll have to do my research for that. tl;dr: I'VE TAKEN PHOTOS OF TONS OF HORROR TOWNS THAT STILL HAVE TO BE ORGANIZED.

I'm shocked that no one has made a Bubble Bobble-themed town yet. Absolutely shocked.

I saw a guy at the library who looked like Marius! Had the same hair style, though he was blond instead of brunette. He even had a vest! I think he was helping an 8-year-old boy with his homework or something. Aww. I would've loved to take a picture of him, though I don't want him to feel like I'm stalking him. Your looks just remind me of one of my novel characters, that's all! ;;

Other than that, I'm just feeling really blah. I want to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf with everyone else, but I don't have a 3DS yet. :( I could watch more Anime, but everytime I do, I'm always having trouble getting the damn TV to work, and then after that, figuring out which remote lets you move between DVD options. Ugh. That and my Mom and Dad watch TV all the time, so I could get kicked out at any moment. This goddamn sucks.

Why is it that I get fic ideas for Kink Bingo when I'm not in Kink Bingo, then as soon as I sign up for a round, my motivation dries up like a puddle in a desert? 'Cause I wanna do an "OFF" fic where Zacharie gives the Judge a bath (and maybe Valerie) for the washing/cleaning square. I've also been listening to a lot of Radiohead because it provides an OFFy atmosphere.

Greenband Jiggly: There are two antagonists in EB: your past best friend/rival/enemy Pokey Minch (referred to as Porky in Japan) and Giygas.
Greenband Jiggly: With Mother 3 and Giygas's defeat, Pokey takes up the reins completely.
