Save for filling out a little form as part of an assignment, Puri has spent the day making ponies of her own characters from her book-in-progress. :P Well, two actually. I left NaNo '09 on hold for a long time, and I felt compelled to make ponies of the two main protagonists. :o

Speaking of creepy games, I watched most of a Squeenix game called Nanashi no Game. It's got an interesting premise about a cursed video game that kills people if they don't beat it in the time limit. (Basically, THE RING WITH VIDEO GAMES!!11!1) The gameplay looks kind of eh though. :/ Screw the live-action parts, I wanna skip ahead to the TS DS bits with the sprites and glitchy graphics! Which has an earworm of a theme by the way. It's so pretty and I can't stop listening to it. :o

Goddamn, I don't know what version to get! ;; The only Pokemon I really like that much on the Stormy Squad are Squirtle and Riolu, so... Light has more Pokemon I like, including Togekiss. But Blazing also has a ton of my favorite Pokemon (Vulpix, Buneary) and it has Eevee and that's an instant wildcard, so... yeah. I'm likely getting Blaze. Hehe. XD Poor Growlithe's always been overshadowed due to my preference for Vulpix, so the two of them working together, the fox and the hound, would be sweet~ ♥

Meh...: Why do I not feel all that hyped up for the Arceus movie? D: I don't know, I just can't get that excited about it. If Palkia & Dialga from Movie 10 were any indication, having them again along with Giratina and Arceus and probably Heatran would be the equivilent of watching two freshly painted houses across the street from another to see who would dry first. It'll be stagnate anyway. Geez, only crummy Pokemon movies would make apopcalyptic showdowns between titans as exciting as two boxers deciding to both take a nap on the ring.

Gods I sound like a cynic. I'm just tired of having my expectations not met and being constantly disappointed, okay? Ah, college. What has thou done to thee? I'm sorry about my behavior... I don't blame you if you're irritated or uncomfortable.

There are music discs for the Space-Time Tower to play from Rise of Darkrai. If they powered a disc containing Nursery Cryme from Silent Hill 2, I will be slain from hardcore amazing.

So I finally got to see UP with Dad and my brother. I liked it; Pixar films have been a lot more mature lately, so that makes me happy. I didn't cry, but my Dad did quietly. The best part for me was the dogs, definitely. They reminded me so much of Amanda and Freddie (Haha, "Cone of Shame" is right. XD), especially with how alike Dug and Freddie are. They're both so stupid and cheerful and sweet, and the quote in my icon definitely clinched it for me. Gods. It's so easy to gloss over dogs in movies these days, but Dug looked so much like a real Golden Retriever with fur so sleek and soft that I wanted to hug him and let him lick my face. Also the Doberman with the broken voice communicator; I can definitely see Amanda speaking like that and expect to be taken seriously. :P Nothing like a Pixar movie to remind me how much I love my dogs, huh? 'Cause now I have Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" stuck in my head. It's the ultimate I-Love-Dogs song, I swear. T-T

While I was watching the movie, I couldn't quit thinking about the little girl with cancer that so badly wanted to see UP that Pixar themselves brought a DVD of the movie to her house so she could watch it before passing on. The article mentioned something about how she loved Pixar movies, one of the reasons being that she loved animals. Hell, is it sad to think of Mom's old parrot, Catherwood, and mention to Dad wondering what it'd be like if we got a colorful new female parrot named Kevin? I dunno, I think Kevin makes a nice ring for a girl's name. Then there's the dogs. Mention UP to me, I think of balloons and dogs. I hope there's a ton of animal goodness up there for the little girl. That's enough to fill tons of pages in an Adventure Book, right? Having dogs does that to ya. And pets. No wonder animals make me so happy. Constant affectionate love they give, especially dogs. Guuuh.

I still think WALL-E's my favorite Pixar film. But this one was nice. Yesh.
