I have no idea if Eusine is ever going to be in Masters, and I have no idea what Pokemon they'd give him (in the miniscule chance he gets Suicune, it's gotta be a Shiny, since Kris already has regular Suicune. It could match with Morty's Shiny Ho-Oh. :o) I hope he does show up though, even though he's not very popular. There's always that one fan, and that one fan is me. XD

I've been on Discord 24/7, and the Empty Movement server has become a second home to me. There's so many wonderful people there, and dear gods, we need each other in these trying times. Especially with Georgia and Alabama passing the most misogynistic bills alive, and it's only a matter of time before Texas follows and it affects me too. Uggggh.

I've been posting a lot of my ramblings on life and fandom and video games on Discord... which I ought to be crossposting on DW, huh? I'm wondering about getting a Pillowfort, but I don't know how active that place actually is and I'm not forking over cash that could better be used for saving up to move to Canada. I really need to be more active about planning for my future (I'm fucking 30), especially if I don't want to be completely sucked into the downward spiral that are my parents' lives.

I've currently been watching Saranzanmai, and god, I love how fucking batshit insane that show is. It makes me want to watch Ikuhara's other shows. I've been meaning to watch Yuri Kuma Arashi for a while (mixed opinions everywhere and the beginning is supposed to suck before it gets good) and I'm finally giving Mawaru Penguindrum a chance despite my misgivings on it (there's a certain scene that makes me go YUCK but the other parts may be worth watching). Kunihiko Ikuhara is basically the Hideo Kojima of anime. XDDD Hopefully it won't be like my experience with the Pokemon movies where I absolutely adored the Lucario movie, and then I was constantly disappointed by the other films. At least I got the Lati@s, Jirachi, Mewtwo Returns, and Shaymin (despite its flaws) movies and Darkrai manga (which I genuinely like compared to my love/hate relationship with the movie) out of it? And I liked the Zoroark movie (let's face it, Zorua stole the show. ;D ) so that was a good place to quit the PokeMovies, haha.

Speaking of PokeMovies, I don't trust the upcoming remake of the Mewtwo movie at all. By all means, I would love a remake, since it benefits from one where it addresses its flaws and fixes its plot holes (LIKE WHY THE FUCK TOGEPI WASN'T CLONED) But it looks like it's going the Live-Action Disney Remake path and basically be exactly the same movie but CGI. Uggggggh. If they cut the Mewtwo's Origin prologue, I'm going to be so pissed off. Yes, you can technically have the movie without it, but you're cutting the heart and soul out of it if you do. Blegh, there's a reason I don't bother with main Pokemon anime anymore.

My best friend and I have been working hard on our Charasriel (eventually Chariskriel) masterpiece! I'm actually supposed to be editing the third chapter right now, so I'll do that after I finish this DW entry. I've also been heavily into Cuphead and there's a million shippy fanfics for a million ships (most of them involving Cagney Carnation. *cough*) I want to write. I also fell in love with Haunting Ground and I'm really getting into Rule of Rose despite my initial mixed reactions to it. More "Girl and Her Dog" horror games plz.

I'm pretty sure it's just me, but I noticed that in certain Pokemon movies (and even games, if you think about it) that when a dysfunctional and/or tragic yaoi couple is thrown in as a catalyst to the plot, the story gets a whole new layer, and sometimes even immensely improves. For example:

1. The Lucario movie is not only about healing old wounds and helping ghosts rest in peace, it's the tale of a star-crossed couple who are reunited after a centuries-long misunderstanding. What, you mean it isn't already?
2. The Shaymin movie is really about Mugen and Zero's relationship. Zero uses Giratina to cover his frustration of being rejected/"betrayed" by Mugen, the one person who made him feel like he belonged and had a place outside of the Reverse World. Mugen feels guilty and helps Ash and Co. to redeem himself for his mistakes. By the end of the film, Mugen and Zero forgive each other and finally consummate their relationship.
3. If I had been in charge of writing the Arceus movie, Damos would've betrayed Arceus on his own volition (rather than handwave it by having him brainwashed by Marcus), only to regret it and sink in sorrow... until Ash and Co. visit him in time to give him a wake-up call, which has him sacrifice himself for the God he truly loved. Alas, that's not what happens in the movie, with or without scandelous God-on-Human romance. Because the Pokemon Anime writers suck. Thank god I ragequit before the Genesect movie.
4. Pokemon X/Y would actually have a subplot of Professor Sycamore wrangling with a moral dilemma and switching between denial and horror when he realizes his boyfriend is a genocidal maniac.

The Jirachi movie is interesting in this regard, since not only is Diane/Butler a hetship, the dysfunctional and/or tragic romance is actually canon instead of speculation on my part.

Now we just need a dysfunctional and/or tragic yuri couple, and the circle is complete.

You know, it's telling that the healthiest relationship in the above examples is the knight and his clearly-a-Pokemon apprentice. Figures.

It's got a neat illustration to go with it too. Awesome. :D I have a feeling I've seen it on pixiv before and someone added text to it, but eh. Most of the comments are fanboys arguing over Mewtwo vs. Arceus rather than commenting on the actual pasta though, which is a pain in the neck. Oh well.

I've been so tired and stressed lately. It might be because I've been stuck awake at nights, but I hope it's not because three English courses isn't too much work for me. Nngh, I feel like I'm getting constantly behind. I even had a small nap on a bench today, and half my face along with my arms and the area beneath my neck turned red. I might've gotten sunburned. :(

I'm worried about the Biology final, I still have one more essay for English, and my sleep is out of whack again. What to do? Play "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity" nonstop! Well, almost nonstop, but you get the point. Which means it's time for a review!

Considering Gates to Infinity came out a year after "The Dark Knight Rises," and cynical superheroes wondering if the world is even worth saving have become an "official" thing in our current pop culture, it sure brings to light the themes in the game, doesn't it? The whole game is about fighting against nihilism and apathy, and rooting for values that nowadays we take for granted or have even become "dismissive" of, like kindness, hope and trust. The game emphasizes that you're not an idiot for being compassionate, even if you've been kicked down and betrayed time and time again. You're not a wimp for believing in doing the right thing, and it takes strength to keep hoping even when fate is against you.

In other Pokemon news, I'm not surprised about the Hoenn remakes. I knew it would happen sooner or later, but it's nice to have it confirmed. :o Coincidentally, I started a game on a Ruby romhack called "Pokemon Snakewood." I haven't gotten past Petalburg Woods yet though, since I got occupied with Mystery Dungeon. Whoops.

My friend Aspen got a 2DS! Now I can send him goodies for both Animal Crossing and Pokemon! :3

- We found the stray dog a new home! Now she has space to run around as much as she wants. :3 Plus she would've been unhappy for the long-run at our house, since it's so crammed and messy. Plus Mom has allergies and her eyes were turning red.

- I signed up for Yuletide at the last possible minute. <.<;;; I've also been playing Pokemon X like crazy. Hopefully I'll be finished on time so I'll be able to include it for my requests on time for PokeExchange. :3

Sadly, Sydney hasn't come home to us yet, and we don't know if he ever will. :( But the most unusual thing happened today! While I was at university, Dad was cleaning his car, and this large dog jumped into the back seat and wouldn't leave. :o We don't know what breed she is yet, but she's got a black and silver coat with brown eyes and she's very pretty. ;; She's got wounds around her neck though, like someone kept her tight on a leash or something. :( She seems really starved for affection; she's constantly kissing us and is very sweet. She doesn't even chase the chickens in the backyard like Freddie does. :o Usually she's sleeping or drinking a lot of water, but so far hasn't eaten much, even when given a doggie treat. She follows Mom into her room and doesn't ever want to leave her side. :o She's thin, but thankfully not emaciated. We have no idea if she's lost or escaped from a bad home or what. Either way, we're looking up suitable names for her. :o So far, we're considering Cosette, since she's a beautiful kindly doggie that we saved from the streets. ;;

Mom took a picture of her with Dad, so I hope I'll be able to upload it and share with everyone soon.

I don't know if I'll be joining Yuletide this year. Not a whole lot of fandoms interest me except Dynamite Headdy, Gender/Sexbent Disney by Ripushko, Madoka, and maybe Space Funeral and Candle Cove. And I don't feel like attempting Twisted Princesses again until Twisted Olivia exists. :P Wasn't there a lot of wank at Yuletide last year too? I dunno, but I heard stories. *shrug* I'm more interested in the Pokemon Exchange, which I'll link to next post, nom.

Back to improving my sleep patterns. I dunwanna study for my midterrrrm... *cries*
