Our new challenge is:

CLIP

As always, you can interpret the prompt literally or figuratively, in whatever way works for you.

Each work created for this challenge should be posted as a new entry to the comm. Posting starts now and continues up until the challenge ends at 4pm Pacific Time on Saturday, 10th October. No sign-up required.

Mods will tag your work for fandom. When you've posted entries to three consecutive challenges, you will earn a name tag, and we'll go back and tag all your previous entries with your name, as well.

All kinds of fanworks in all fandoms are welcome. Please have a look at our guidelines before you play. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact a mod. And if you have any suggestions for future challenges, you can leave them in the comments of this post.

You can view stats for

fan_flashworks entries and search and filter them via the Community Report and Creator Report. See our FAQ post for more details.

Also, keep an eye out for the next

ffw_social post, which will go up in the next couple of days. If you haven't joined the

ffw_social comm, it's never too late to come and check it out. (Posts are locked, which means you have to join to see them.)

Added a bunch of new Pet Shop of Horrors fics to my Tagpacker bookmark collection. Then I spent a nice long afternoon rereading/liveblogging the final chapter.

(…I promise I take breaks for other things. When there’s an hour between posts, it doesn’t mean I spent the whole hour typing those words, it means I also had a snack or scrolled some Tumblr or something.)

(The fanart in this post is also in my Tumblr PSoH tag, ftr.)

Mastodon, Bluesky, get the Collector’s Edition, let’s jump in.

What's in the Bowl?

- making Pokémon teams for fictional characters! (I talk about what kind of Pokémon they'd have on their team, if I know them well enough)

- AMV recs!

- very simple icons!

- possible magical girl shows/manga/media/etc. recs??

Let Me Know:

- What character you want me to make a Pokémon team for! Probably stick to fandoms I am at least familiar with! (You can refer to, like, the interests tags on my profile. Or just ask me if I'm familiar enough with something, and I'll give you a honest answer.)

- if there are any fandoms/vibes in particular you're looking for in AMV recs (it's alright if you don't have any!)

- What kind of icons you'd like, subject-wise (I will... definitely need links to good image sources/screenshots/etc. if I am not familiar with a fandom. I'm also not going to use fanart.)

- What do you tend to like in stories/narratives/characters?? What's stuff you absolutely don't want? Or just... let me go and recommend whatever!

Other info: I can only really do stationary, very simple icons. And I reserve the right to refuse any sort of request if I'm not feeling it.

Title: Delivery Problems
Fandom: Doctor Who (BFA)
Pairing/Characters: Sixth Doctor & Charley Pollard
Content Notes: None.
Prompt: September One - Sixth Doctor & Charley Pollard - nine o'clock on a Saturday

Delivery Problems at AO3

rionaleonhart

Here’s an assortments of fics I’ve written in response to Tumblr requests! These are all in the ‘a hundred words, or slightly over’ range. I took drabble requests, and everything I posted to Tumblr in response was a drabble, but in some cases what I’ve posted here is the original draft before I cut it down to drabble length.

( Assorted Goes Wrong ficlets, 950 words. )

( Ficlets for other fandoms: Death Note, Homestuck, Silent Hill f. 500 words. )

I’ve posted about 80,000 words of Goes Wrong fanfiction to my main AO3 account, but, if you count all the ficlets I’ve written in addition, I think I must be over 100,000 words of Goes Wrong fanfiction by now. Which is wild! I consider it a great year of writing if I hit 60,000 words; I wrote my first Goes Wrong fic just under nine months ago! I wouldn’t have expected this silly canon to be so wildly inspirational, especially as we see so little of the characters offstage. But I just have such a great time writing about these idiots.
