shamanicshayminI beat Pokemon X! Actually, I did earlier in the month, but college, what can you do? Here's my little blurbs of my team, thoughts on the ending and post-game.
This is my team as entered into the Hall of Fame:
Squishy (Goodra) (f) Level 75 (Whoo versatile dragons!)
Bowser (Blastoise) (m) Level 78 (Still the Best 1998)
Tatsuya (Sylveon) (m) Level 80 (Every bit of amazing and adorable as I expected. ;;)
Knuckles (Lucario) (m) Level 78 (Sadly, not the Lucario Korrina gave me. :( I felt so bad about boxing Fei, but I didn't want to abandon Knuckles for him. ;;)
Kurama (Delphox) (m) Level 79 (omg so amazing. I want a female one named Amaterasu)
Cassandra (Absol) (f) Level 74 (Poor girl got a little behind, but she saved my ass in the Elite 4, so I hope it makes up for that! ;; And she can go Mega now, buwahaha. 8) )
Honorable Mention: Japhet (Sigilyph) (m) Level 60 (This Nazca birdie helped a lot with leveling and Sky Battles, and is powerful in his own right~ ♥)
Exp. All is kind of amazing. My Pokemon levels are usually never this high by the time I'm fighting the Elite 4. :o
Fairies are officially my favorite Pokemon type. I love them all. ♥Except Mr. Mime, but I like to pretend he doesn't exist anyway. One of these days, I wanna go on a mono-Fairy run, and leave sparkles on everything we pass.
Pretty much my only beef with this gen's story is this; what the hell happened to Lysandre? I got the impression that he was killed (and still crazy), but Sycamore goes up to me and says, "Yay! You saved Lysandre! :DD" And I'm just, "What? By crushing him to death? D:" And I don't think it ever gets explained post-game, so blegh. :/ Maybe on Pokemon Z or X2/Y2? *shrug* I'm glad it cleared up the scenario with AZ and Floette though. I did not expect that battle or ending. ;;
I want to give Looker and Emma all the hugs right now. Waaaaah. ;;
Still gotta catch the Legendaries. I want to give my Master Ball to Mewtwo, not that stupid Wandering Legendary Bird, auuuugh. *hedgehog hiss* And I gotta trade for Togepies and Joltiks so I can start developing my Ultimate Team for upcoming tournaments, nom.
The Gym Leaders and Elite 4 rock.It's so awkward that Valerie shares the same name as my mom though. And I liked Calem! I thought he made a great rival. (Sorry Barry, you've just been beat on "Best Friendly Rival." Cheren and Bianca, you don't count) And Shauna is cute. ;; Didn't care much for Tierno and Trevor, they were just "there"/Those Two Guys to me. And if I say nothing else about him, Professor Sycamore is hot. <.< I'm kind of disappointed the game didn't go further into his relationship with Lysandre though. I wanted to see Sycamore react with sadness at what Lysandre's become, or reconciling with him after his fall, but nope. We just get "Sycamore is sad about Lysandre" over the Holo-Caster, and the "Yay! You saved Lysandre!" convo I mentioned earlier. Shame, I've seen some cute fanart. I expected more. :( Oh well, I guess that's what fandom's for.
I keep thinking of this song whenever I fight Team Flare. I'm a terrible person.
Serena/Calem, Serena/Shauna, and Serena/Korrina are my ships, nomnomnom. And I have a craving for Grimsley/Malva for some reason. I think their personalities and shady histories would go really well together. <.<;;;
I love dressing up and buying new outfits. :3 My favorite clothes have to be from Laverre, Anistar, and Snowbelle. Hell, I think I'll just up and live in Laverre if I ever had a chance to live in the Pokemon world. <.<
Pokemon do adorable things after you befriend them in Pokemon Amie. ♥ You get bonuses like Pokemon avoiding hits or gaining extra exp simply because they love you. ;; (And you get messages like "Japhet is remembering the first time it met Giselle..." Awwww!)
Gotta write my letter for Pokemon Holiday Exchange! :o

Date: 2013-10-30 02:16 am (UTC)And yeah, the deal with Lysandre had me keysmashing at Lexi, especially after Sycamore was all "I wish he'd seen the light" and I ship them so hard but...nothing afterwards? D: I went to see him and thought maybe he'd say something about Lysandre but nope, just wanted to check my Pokedex. D:
The AZ storyline made me wibble so much, though. ;w; And that ending...I kept wondering if AZ was gonna finally die, ahaha. But seeing him reunited with Floette made me happy. AND THE ENDING SOOOONG. ;w;
Clothes shopping is addictive. @_@ Right now I'm trying to save a buttload of money just to shop in the Lumiose Boutique. Everything there is so classy and cute and aaaaah so pricey. D: I love Lavarre's stuff, though!
And yes on Looker and Emma. ;w; I always liked Looker, but the backstory about his poor Croagunk...and Emma. D: Being used like that and not even realizing it.
