Dude, that was surprisingly epic. It hadn't occurred to me what a total LunarEclipseshippy (Darkrai/Cresselia) song Kamelot's "Lunar Sanctum" is either. oO;;; Kamelot must reeeeeeeeeeally like Darkrai, considering the tone of their music and their lyrics relating so well to him. :o Hell, I can probably safely say they ship Darkrai with anyone, considering they wrote a big giant movie tribute to him and Alicia and Alice in "Somewhere in Time (The Haunting)". I would call it an Aegisshipping (Darkrai/Alice) song, but... blegh. The pairing's kinda gone on a Jeff/Paula route for me in where I went from "Ah ha, Darkrai liked Alicia. :P" to "Oh hey, hadn't thought of that, could be cute." to "Oh crap, reminds me of a friend I used to have. *hedgehog hiss*" So... yeah. The ship makes me uncomfortable now. D: Baaaaaaaaad memories. I'll still look at art and goodfic like I do with Jeff/Paula (and heck, I could write it if I'm in a good mood and you threw me a pencil), but my feelings on the pairing itself... bleeeeeeeeeegh. DDDDDD: (Though thankfully, my uneasiness from Jeff/Paula stems from trianglefic and not a verbally abusive ex-friend. XDDD;;;) 'Sides, I kinda knew from the beginning; I'm a Quiescentshipper, aka Darkrai/Alicia. :P Maybe I don't mean ROMANCE AND TWU WUV!!11!!1 (In fandom, relationship lines tend to get blurred like that. XD), but I do find their friendship bittersweet and cute like with Mewtwo & Ai and Shadow & Maria, and it was basically the plot of "Rise of Darkrai" for me. Screw Dialga and Palkia, Darkrai sacrificing himself for the love of a little girl who cared for him while everyone wanted him burned in a bonfire is touching to me. ;;

Dammit. Rise of Darkrai is my least favorite Pokemon movie, yet it's my favorite fandom currently. Maybe because it lends itself super easy to fanfiction and other creative stuff? It's fun to speculate considering what little development it was given in the first place *SHOT* and dammit Tonio's growing on me (I dunno if that's the right word, I'm iffy. XD;;) or at least my Head*Canon version. He's kinda a slightly messed-up guilt-sack. *cough* Stupid fucking Tonio. <.< He's fun to write though. WRRRRY

Nooooooooooooooooo. I feel parts of my brain going "LIAR LIAR YOU KNOW IT'S NOT TRUE" and goddammit I hate feeling conflicted. Puri's going to grind her hours on her papers for Rhetoric. In case you're wondering why I disappeared, that's why. :P

Dad came up to help me finish an overdue essay. We had a big fight at first, but we made up and got a lot done. :) After I finished my analysis paper, I helped Dad start a new game of *dundundun* Yume Nikki. I failed introducing him to Super Mario RPG and Earthbound, but not Yume Nikki! Not this time! >( I figured the controls would be simple enough for my Dad to learn (his main habit is pressing the keys above the correct ones and I had to show him you could hold the arrow keys to keep walking rather than tap it for each step. XD) and I mainly helped him with directions while letting him explore on his own. ("Why not go over there?", "Try left", "Press Z. But go to the front of it first", "What's over there?", "Oh, try talking to that hand! With the eyeball!") I'm surprised he isn't that disturbed yet; I think I went "ew" and groaned and grimaced over certain sights more than he did. XD If he's uncomfortable, he's hiding it well. :P It's hard to tell if that smile of his is nervous or not.

Me: What do you think little girls dream about?
Dad: Um... dresses.
Me: Yeah, there is a dress, actually. :o
Dad: Puppies...
Me: No puppies. But there are cats.
Dad: Kat?
Me: Black cats.
Dad: Ohhh! Cats. Black cats. Right.

Daddy went to Number Land first (after utterly failing at NASU from the first eggplant), and he found a sealed red dress and slippers locked up from his reach, a dead-end leading to purple sewer water, and the lamp! Yep! I showed him how to use it, and he was quite surprised he already found an effect already. :3 But what surprised me was how quickly he found Madotsuki in the Closet; I didn't remember how I got there, but I directed Dad to check the shorter lamp and sure enough, he found her. oO;;; I taught him how to wake up and was going to teach him how to save when something bizarre happened. I'm unsure if it's intentional or a glitch or not, but when Madotsuki got out of bed, her head wasn't twisted right. oO;;; She was looking at us while she got out of bed, and when Dad turned directions, her head kept moving to the side like a sort of owl trick or Exorcist chick. oO;;; She wouldn't get in the desk (though she always kept staring at it no matter where she turned) so I had to get her back in bed to restore her to normal.

"Okay Dad! Feel free to enter the creepiest door in the room! :D" Go figure, Dad picked the one with the eyeballs and entered Limb Land. ("...Floating eyes?" was the first thing he said) The room didn't seem to affect him as much as it did me (Me going ugh over the Blue Face Door and "whoa" over the kissy face while Dad says nothing) and I told him to check all the hands he could find. (Dad's comment on Madotsuki while walking past another arm: "Well she certainly doesn't seem to mind those things.") "Oh! Go to the one with the eye!" Daddy found Medemaude! :o Puri showed him how it worked to get him back to the Nexus, and referred to it as The Thing from "The Addams Family" so he could remember easily. Showed Dad how to save. The end... for now. 'Cause damn! I can't wait to show him more and Dad actually made some good guesses regarding Madotsuki from the dreams. ("Did she... kill her mother?" "That's a possibility, yes." "Oh, swell." "You were right, Dad! There WAS a dress in her dream!")

Me: *mentioning about how I dread showing him the Scariest Part of the Game without saying Uboa's name or what world to find him in and how*
Dad: *guesses what the Scariest Part is* Does she get eaten?
Me: Actually, she does! That's not the Scariest Part of the Game though.
Dad: Swallowed up?
Me: Yes! It actually happens!
Dad: Is she torn from limb to limb?
Me: Actually, she doesn't. Much worse happens to her though.
Dad: Is she... raped?
Me: Actually, that could have really happened. It's VERY likely.
Dad: Oh goodie! Isn't that nice...

Puri asks Dad what the limbs in the Limb Room could have meant and if maybe it suggested Madotsuki was touched in unwanted places. Hoo boy, I can't wait to show Dad Kyukyu-kun. He'd have a field day over it. :o Or the Toriningen. Or Masada. Or Monoko. Or Uboa even. PURI CANNOT WAIT TO GUIDE HIM TO THE AWESOME. Soon Puri. Soon. Christmas Break when you can distract him from work. Nomnomnomnomnom~ ♥

So Dad yelled/criticized me two days ago and yesterday he wasn't too apologetic either. This regarding my performance in school and my horrible Rhetoric paper in which I have to get to work on before the 24th or I-am-so-fucking-dead. I had a miserable past two days, despite me renting two movies and buying four Pokemon figurines and Pink Floyd's The Wall (CD). So much for material objects cheering me up. So Dad finally calmed down and acted like his normal self today and we agreed if I was having trouble, he'd drive right back up (he was in the city today but after those last two days, I was very doubtful about him staying). Sounds like a plan, right? Right?

So guess who comes in like a BIG WET BLANKET and RUINS my mood yet again!? Mom.

Is it any wonder I avoid her whenever I could?

Heaven forbid I'm picked from the ground after two crummy days.

Shared Pink Floyd's The Wall (Movie) at CA, but nobody really paid attention but me and the volume was too damn low. Guess it's one of those things better to watch alone in the dark. I still don't understand everything, but I loved the animation sequences and I'd probably appreciate it better after running through the soundtrack more. I'm still a bit confused on Perfect Blue, but that one I definitely liked a lot. To the point where I felt like renting it again. oO;; Gorgeous and gritty. Contrary to what AMVs tend to portray, it's less "U GONA GET RAEPED!!1!1" and more Dissociative Personality Disorder, which makes for fun psychology and it's a storyline Puri likes WAY better. XD "In the world of make believe, the price of fame may not be worth the cost of identity." Let's say that they were not kidding and you need to see it for yourself. <.<

Puri wishes Yume Nikki had an anime or movie. Or the patience to practice animation skills. The number of AMVs for NIN's Closer is piling up, but I'm still super tempted to make one for Madotsuki and the general abstract story of Yume Nikki; it would be perfect and the bizarre/scary/surreal imagery would fit the music like marriage in heaven. Stuff like Madotsuki spinning her chair, Kyukyu-kun rubbing the banister, the creepy eyeball womb crosses, decapitated heads, etc. reflect a bit on the original music video itself too. Maybe it can be possible using captures of the game itself, but it would take a LOT of editing and a lot more than my computer and WMM can handle. Dammit. :/

Why is Rapist!Ike/Pit suddenly popular at the Smash Bros. Kink Meme? I could go in a frothing rant of fury about this, though mostly about how much I detest Pure-Angelic-Innocent-Uke!Pit, but that's a rant for another day.

Funny how I was biking in and out of Poniko's house and absolutely dreading THAT moment, only to realize I forgot to turn the lights off. "Hm, I wonder if I'm supposed to turn the lights on AND off before I--AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" As in, shrieked. IRL. Made me jump in bed. Startled the two friends in the room. Dear fucking god. This post has been made to assure you I'm still alive. After the worst week of my sophomore year, Puri finally takes time to relax and do what she always wanted to do: play more Yume Nikki.

Puri found the knife. I think this is the first game since SimAnt that's made me feel like a murderer. D: Albeit, after a while, I get an odd sort of Sweeney Todd feel from it and there's an odd satisfaction of imagining yourself slitting the throats of obnoxious Sneetches and having Madotsuki stab folks with the "Johanna" reprise playing in your mind. ("Hey look, Johanna, a star!" with Madotsuki looking at some bizarre supernatural phenomenon while a faceless ghost vanishes under her feet) Am never, ever stabbing the singing guy at the clinic ever again. Puri likes him. ;;

Puri found the Oldsk00l*Final Fantasy Universe, but she's yet to find Mother 1*Universe itself. BUT. I did find 2001: A Space Odyssey's DISCOVERY ship in space. Who's in it? I'm not exaggerating: the Phantom of the Opera. For serious. He's got a giant piano in front of him, wears a white mask that hints he's hiding something hideous, has the exact same black hair and suit as Erik does and holy fuck... he's there. The Phantom of the Opera is in Yume Nikki.

Geez, how much interests of mine has Yume Nikki crammed in? :o

Puri wants to show you photos of Erik and Madotsuki she snapped, but Puri's up way too late and tired and needs to sleep. XD
