After a cataclysmic event known as The Flash, the afterlife is separated into two separate realms: Los Angeles (heaven) and Olathe (hell). Because the world is full of sinners, Olathe often gets overcrowded, so Los Angeles has to do a yearly "culling" with exorcists to prevent any uprisings. How can spirits die in the afterlife, you ask? Every demon in hell experiences the Second Death, in which a void forms over their face and they become baby factories in which various cherubs are pulled out of the void to become new exorcists.(Just like FAITH: The Unholy Trinity but with angels!)
Meet the son of the Prince of Olathe, Angel Dustin Morningstar (you can tell 'cause he wears a red skull) Dusty is a kindly demon who can't stand his people getting slaughtered each year, so he proposes: what if a soul can be redeemed? If a demon can be rehabilitated and ascend to Los Angeles, it would solve the overpopulation issue and the yearly genocide would end! And he can do it by offering a shelter to those who seek redemption... the Inzolent Inn!
However, Los Angeles isn't too keen on the idea. In a land full of violent monsters, pathetic losers, and gross perverts, is it even possible for anyone in Olathe to be redeemed? Do you even want certain demons like the notorious Marty to find salvation? What's the criteria for a soul to enter Los Angeles or Olathe? Do the higher-ups even know?
Spoilers: the afterlife is all Los Angeles, they just use different color pallets.

So now that I'm finally awake, let's distract ourselves from worldly horrors with writing memes. I've been much more active than I have in previous years, boy oh boy~ Not counting my Yuletide fic because that's gotta stay anon until reveals.

Gods, I've just gotten really obsessed with LISA: The Painful RPG. I even got all the routes in a fangame called LISA: The Hopeful and am looking forward to the sequel. :o I've got jillions of fics in the works (knocks wood that she'll be able to write and finish them) and most of them are BradTerry because I love them and they deserve happiness. ;; My Spotify account is crying because I've got at least 11 LISA playlists thus far, and I'm hoping to turn them into full-fledged fanmixes soon. So far I got:
- LISA: The Painful Playlist (Me being experimental and wanting to make a LISA fanmix using only female vocalists. 'Cause IRONY)
- LISA: The Musical (The songs that don't fit into my all-female vocalist theme. A lot of them end up into the mixes below...)
- LISA: The Hopeful Playlist (Which will include OT3 songs because I'm predictable)
- BradTerry (Of course I'm making an enormous BradTerry mix. ;; I got happy songs, tragic songs, bonus songs, all that's missing are Terrible Terry: Lord of Hurts songs)
- BuzzoLisa (Tragic, dysfunctional, codependent het with lots of Buzzo angst. WHOO HOO)
- Terry Hintz (Because my boy deserves it. ;; Plus while looking for BradTerry songs, I found a lot of music that fit better as solo Terry, so they get their own space here)
- Queen Roger (I fucking love Queen Roger, so he's getting his own mix. I'll be avoiding a lot of the "easy" songs, but I'm allowing myself "Sweet Transvestite" just because it's Rocky Horror AND it's perfect for him out of all the easy songs anyway)
I'm doing a mix for each of the Armstrong Kids because I have so many feelings for them. ;;
- Lisa ("Crucify" by Tori Amos is her theme song and is definitely the first track, yup yup)
- Brad (MY PROBLEMATIC SAD DAD. Gut-wrenching tracks ahoy, because Brad's an idiot who makes a lot of bad choices)
- Buddy ("Infected" from Repo! The Genetic Opera screams her, and now the Armstrong mixes are infected [cough] with Repo. Whoops)
- Rando (My boy, my baby, he's the one I have the least tracks for, I'm hoping to help him catch up soon)
Anyway, off I go before I do something to jinx myself.

I'm considering starting a new creative journal, since I can't be bothered to remember the password of my old one and at this point, it's like a relic of the LJ/DW years and I really don't feel like revamping it anyway. I'm considering a NSFW journal too though? Though I think I'd use it as more of an excuse to make horny/erotic icons, haha. XD
