Any particular reason for the move? I've never used Spotify, but I get the impression that it's easier to go ad-free on YouTube than on Spotify.
I generally use the FreeTube client for my music, unless I want recommendations for new songs, in which case I use the free version of Pandora. (FreeTube is completely separate from one's Google account, so you can't access your private playlists there.
I don't know if it's possible to port private playlists into the app either. But there are also ad blockers that work with a regular YouTube account.)
(Don't mind me, just rambling and hoping any of it is of use lol)
