All art is at once surface and symbol

How was everyone's Christmas? I wasn't feeling particularly festive this year. Hell, I spent most of 2018 being scared and wishing Election Day would come faster. That, and grieving the loss of my dog Riley who was hit by a car as soon as mid-January. The aching loneliness was... not fun. At all. Not even Realmscon helped cheer me up. Good news came before Halloween though! Dad had finally found Bichon Frise puppies near Austin, and we brought home two littermates. ;; Initially the boy was called Devo, but it didn't seem to fit him, and neither did Cagney (he wasn't tsundere at ALL) but we finally decided on Neville after one of the best Harry Potter characters and he is a cinnamon roll. His sister? Her name is Lulubelle. <3 I'll share pictures and videos when I'm not exhausted. Those two are a godsend and they make me so much happier. ;;

I have a new girlfriend! Her name is Isabelle~ <3 Isabelle is the biggest cinnamon roll in the world, she's like an IRL Madoka. She has no idea how important she is to me no matter how much I tell her. ;; I was supposed to write Mami/Madoka smutfic for Christmas for her, but gah. I've been juggling so much with Secret Santas and whatnot. Better late than never though! I'll link it here when I'm done~

Since Christmas just exists as a blip for me this year, I didn't receive much for Christmas and that's okay. Isabelle gave me a copy of Cuphead, and I got plushies of the entire Doki Doki Literature Club cast! Which I also have pictures of to share later. XD I then spent Christmas watching AVGN episodes and PushingUpRose's LP of Laura Bow: The Colonel's Bequest. XD

Gosh, I have to update my icons. I want to do lots of creative things aaaaaaaaa. Except Dad is messing up my computer and phone. Uggggggggh.
