Day 2: The most Underrated game you’ve ever played
You've been Plok'ed by =AndrewDickman on deviantART

Plok!
Plok! is a super cute platformer about this guy named Plok who attacks by literally throwing his fists and feet (in b4 Rayman! :o) in order to get his flags back and to save the land from an onslaught of fleas. This game was overshadowed by other "cute platformers" that had come out at the time, and I'd never even heard of this game until Hedgie shared it with me over AIM long ago. Imagine my surprise when I actually found a copy of the game at a video game store in Austin! Naturally, I bought it in a heartbeat. The backgrounds are colorful, the music is awesome, and gosh I want to squish Plok! It's also the game where I picked up the word "Granpappy": the granpappy even has a mustache that looks exactly like Uncle Chuck's! :o Oh yeah, did I mention while looking for his flag, Plok finds a pair of someone's boxers? Be warned though, it's Nintendo Hard. I still haven't beaten the game to this day. ;; (Fucking Bobbin Bros. Especially when there's three of them! D:)
Speaking of overshadowed games with cute mascots, remind me to play Ristar on the SEGA Genesis some time. I saw a review of it on Screwattack! and it looks fun. :)
Runner's Up is Earthbound 0/Mother 1. It doesn't receive nearly as much love as its two predessors do (either people think it's too hard or dismiss it as "expy" or "less developed." Liiiiiiiiiiiies!) , and it makes me sad. :(
Oh, and Startropics. 'Cause it's badass. I need to finish it. That, and start Zoda's Revenge when I'm done. <.<
