Vladimir Nabokov. With tons of clever puzzles and setups, with Lolita alone you find something new. He revolutionized for me on how a book can be done, so that's... mind-blowing and I'd love to have what he's having. :p
Hell no to switching writing styles with anyone though. I like my writing style and I like being influenced by my favorite authors to make a delicious stew of my own. :o By stew, we mean Kirby's Cook Ability and Final Smash. Nomnomnomnomnom. :o
