I listened to a lot of Talking Heads and Queen as a kid, and this A Capella group I don't remember the name of. The latter did a cover of "U.S.S.R" that I thought was extremely catchy, and to this day I loved everything from "True Stories", such as "Wild Wild Life", "Love For Sale", "Puzzling Evidence", "Papa Legba", and "City of Dreams." Damn, "Wild Wild Life", I adore that one to bits and pieces. I remember loving "Psycho Killer" and "Once in a Lifetime" too.
Thanks to Wayne's World, you can say "Bohemian Rhapsody" has become a staple in my childhood. That said, let's pick my Top 10 choices today with as little agonizing as possible (not including childhood favorites) (in no order):
1. Goo Goo Dolls - Black Balloon
2. Tori Amos - Precious Things
3. Evanescence - Fields of Innocence
4. Patrick Wolf - Magpie
5. Emilie Autumn - Shallot
6. Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
7. Dido - Here With Me
8. Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight
9. Sarah McLachlan - Possession
10. October Project - Deep As You Go
Bonus: Sarah Brightman - I Will Be With You (Where the Lost Ones Go). 'Cause I had to squeeze that one in there somewhere. *nod*
Having a stuffy nose sucks. Sudafed is your friend, and nasal spray exists to laugh at your suffering. Seriously. The latter's like someone sneezing ice up your nostrils. I'll stick with Sudafed, kthnx.
Dammit, I wish the Internet would stop being flighty. D:
