Ah, our first completely unrelated song in which we look for relative context out-of-context. Okay, that was confusing. Three guesses why Masada is broken and bleeding in the first place, and the first two don't count. :P

Alberto is stubborn to a fault. <.< While he was attacking Darkrai because he wanted to protect Alamos and his honor, he was completely blind to the full picture and refused to listen to anyone but his own intuition. By the time he finally realized Darkrai had been trying to help them, a ton of the damage in Alamos had already been done and Darkrai ended up giving his life for Alamos's mistakes. Needless to say, pride does not mix well with protecting a city. :/
Guess the person he's less likely to take seriously until it's too late.

Wow, worst choice ever, iPod. X/ This is as close to relevance as I can get. They were both killed, mind and body. But never heart. The Aura is With Me! *salute*

Part of this song is about finding independence. Butler lost sight of what was really important to him and ended up doing things he thought was please Magma long after they fired him. Likewise, Diane did nothing and just went with the flow before it got completely out of hand, and she cut herself off from him by taking Max & Jirachi and the gang to Fauns. This was a slap in the face to Butler, and it would be later when he caught up with her that he knew why...
