For one week, recommend / share:
Day 1: a song
Day 2: a picture
Day 3: a book
Day 4: a site
Day 5: a youtube clip
Day 6: a quote
Day 7: whatever tickles your fancy
I wanted to find Tom Leher - The Masochism Tango, but I couldn't find a good version of the song that wasn't used for a crappy AMV on YouTube. :/ So here's two others. One's humor, one's gorgeous. :o
John C. Reilly & Angela Correa - Let's Duet :: Can't share the lyrics to this one. It'll ruin the surprise. XD Despite several stupid jokes and sexual gags that just fell flat and didn't work (Ah ha ha, "Dewey Cox", I get it. *rolls eyes*), Walk Hard was a funny movie that makes fun of various TV Tropes with some catchy tunes, including this one. It's easy to slide into immature and exaggerated extremes with a song like this (ex. too sexual/crude/etc.), but Reilly and Correa make it work by keeping it a genuine and innocent love song in spite of the underlying innuendos. To this, I salute them. :o
Now for something beautiful~
Josh Groban feat. The Corrs - Canto Alla Vita :: djs hjskghsfjkghdjkyrhjk god GROBAN HAS THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL. His utter resonance and purity makes me melt~ *_______________________* I believe this is in Italian (?) save for an English verse by the Corrs, so I'll be happy to provide a translation~ ♥

Canto Alla Vita ("SONG TO LIFE")
Dedicated to the one who guilty or innocent
Lost in this sea
Yielded to the stream
Who didn't ever be a winner
Dedicated to the one always keeping a hope
In front of a sorrow
In the cold of a room
Dedicated to the one searching his own freedom
I sing to life
To all its beauty
To every wound of it
To every caress of it
I sing to life
To its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife
Let all that dance through me
The rise and the fall
I lived through it all
Dedicated to the one who always made it dry
Like possessed, slipped through fingers
It was always already over
I sing to life
Reflected into your eyes
Easy and endless
Promised land for us
I sing to life
Sweet and even fierce
To this journey of ours
Which still puts us in chains
It calls us...
Don't ever doubt
Don't ever doubt
Don't ever leave it alone
Alone
... still ...
I sing to life
Sweet and even fierce
To this journey of ours
Which still puts us in chains
It calls us...
Dedicated to the one who guilty or innocent
Lost in this sea
Yielded to the stream
Who didn't ever be a winner
Dedicated to the one always keeping a hope
In front of a sorrow
In the cold of a room
Dedicated to the one searching his own freedom
I sing to life
To all its beauty
To every wound of it
To every caress of it
I sing to life
