Goddammit, I feel sedentary. I've been wearing my pajamas for weeks and I'm constantly napping due to wonked sleep. I haven't felt like doing anything, namely writing and icons, 'cause I don't feel like it, feel too hot, or am absolutely cramped in this house because the only places I can have private time are on a desk (and Dad has to share this room with me) and various beds. They say if you have insomnia, doing everything in bed is a bad, bad idea. But yes. Cramped. I'd love to go outside, except the weather is unbearable. I can't drive and I may or may not want to. I'm getting this feeling that I want to get out there, to somewhere different and refreshing with an entirely new atmosphere, but I don't know where to go. Cabin fever's annoying. Hell, I've downloaded the first episode of Avatar to watch and it's still sitting there on my computer being neglected.
It's getting to the point I'm thinking I need a job. I've been warned against pet stores, so I'll have to settle for volunteering at a shelter, but that won't bring money. I've also heard horror stories on my flist about video game stores like GameStop, GameCrazy, etc. so I guess that's out too. I'll probably prefer work at a book store like Barnes N' Noble, Half-Price Books, etc. there's a few nearby. Some place quiet. Even a Dollar Store, as long as it's indoors and goddamned air conditioned.
