No, I should be the one apologizing, since I did use the wrong wording. I didn't mean to imply that crappy childhood = automatic sociopath, especially since I'm against that belief as well. What I meant to say was if her son did grow up to be a sociopath, that she shouldn't blame it on his gender. Sociopaths have complete disregard of other people, and anyone of any gender and sexuality can be one. Women are capable of being every bit as cruel and horrifying, and they don't need the patriarchy or the abuse of men for them to be so.
