Aka two of our original heroes from Earthbound 0/Mother 1. Adults in Puri's fic Nights of Genesis.

Ninten is dead.

*ducks objects* It's true! He's dead!

Not saying he won't have a significant role. (But he'll be still be dead. As in dead-dead). His death takes a Domino effect immediately on the cast: hitting a particular two the hardest.

Now famous and well-loved in Merrysville, Loid, a childhood outcast, is renamed professor and named after Duncan, who ran the bizarre humongous factory in the north and revolutionized rockets like he had. Still the shy timid genius he was as a boy, his general fear of people exacerbated when the first friend he met his entire life, Ninten, was mysteriously murdered under cruel circumstances. Guilt and helplessness heaving his shoulders, he locks himself up in paranoia, refusing to see anyone except what little friends he had left: Ana, Teddy, Pippi, and Ninten's relatives.

Ana and Ninten married, starting a family with their daughter, Leah. Widowed, Ana and her parents take turns raising the child as she learned to crawl. Shortly, the family would be in grave danger--including Loid.

Upon arriving in Merrysville, the Chosen 4 pleaded to visit Professor Duncan, nudging themselves inside by sending him in estatic throes at the sight of Jeff's Bottle Rockets. ("No, you can't come in!" "Not if we show you this?" "*gasp* Oh my gosh, it'sarocketgetinthelab%$^&%*&(^*^% Uhh... come in! You gotta show me!" "*shrug* That was quick!") Loid is shaken by the uncanny resemblance of the Chosen 4 to himself, Ninten and Ana. (Sans Poo--except martial arts, their lives couldn't be any more different). Which reminds him of Ninten's murder and a disturbing legend in associate with it...

I'm rushing myself to get food, so tough. You're not getting the exciting parts right now. XD BUT! Pippi WILL be playing a major role in this 'cause I adore her to pieces and she fits right in the plot anyway. :o More info on Teddy later. I gotta reach his first appearance in EB0 though, gotta finish the game to write him efficiently. Godammit, I need a Sound Card. *whimper*

This doujinshi picture of Ninten & Ana I've been using reference with looks eeringly like Fushigi Yuugi's Tamahome & Miaka. Srsly. Ninten's got that Taka smile on his face. oO;;; Remind me to draw them cosplaying later. *cough* Ana would look cute in a brown school uniform. :o ("Taka found a Hamburger! Miaka takes it. Miaka got the Hamburger!")

I need food. Plus I gotta spend all tomorrow catching up on readings and preparing for the 3rd Critical Thinking exam so I don't get another F. D:
