Put your playlist on random. Post the first ten songs that come up, alongside a brief note on why they're on your playlist and/or why you like them. Then tag ten people to do the same and learn more about them through song!

Mix between random/hand-picked. Since Winamp has a habit of shuffling to the same damn song over and over.

1. Within Temptation - Pale

Have to try to break free from the thoughts in my mind
Use the time that I have, I can't say goodbye
Have to make it right
Have to fight, cause I know in the end it's worthwhile
That the pain that I feel slowly fades away
It will be alright

Lucas. ;-; From my understanding of Mother 3 anyway. (I'm lame) Still, this song makes me wibble inside. Within Temptation has a way of doing that. So ethreal.

2. Run D.M.C. - It's Tricky

It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time
It's Tricky... it's Tricky (Tricky) Tricky (Tricky)!
It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time
It's Tricky... Tr-tr-tr-tricky (Tricky) Trrrrrrrrrrricky!

I swear to god this song came from my favorite AMV ever. I definitely recommend seeing it! :333 After a while, the song got in my head, so I downloaded it. Perfect dance tune ever!

3. Peter Gabriel - Signal to Noise

Man I'm losing sound and sight
Of all those who can tell me wrong from right
When all things beautiful and bright sink in the night
Yet there's still something in my heart that can find a way
To make a start
To turn up the signal
Wipe out the noise

I don't listen to this one often. I should though, it's a good song. :o I'm always a sucker for apopcalyptic melodies, and this one's all quiet and eerie.

4. Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime

Now I know you won't refuse because we've got so much to do
And you've got nothing more to lose so take this number and welcome to:

Operation : Mindcrime!
We're an underground revolution working overtime
Operation : Mindcrime!
There's a job for you in the system boy, with nothing to sign

...I am SO happy I discovered these guys. I should look more into their stuff because this is absolutely amazing. *________* Reminds me of the good days of rock 'n roll, mmm!

5. VNV Nation - Honour

Stand your ground this is what we are fighting for!
For our spirit and laws and ways
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war
For heaven or hell we shall not wait

Shall I think of honour as lies or lament its aged slow demise?
Shall I stand as a total stranger on this day in this stone chamber?

War song! Just good ol' VNV. :o

6. Carbon Leaf - Girl And Her Horse

And away she rides with the best in show
You know unicorns don't exist, of course
But every girl in this world has a horse

Animal power! *_______________* Gosh, there needs to be more songs about relationships between people and animals, be they dogs, cats (See: Jack Off Jill - My Cat), or horses--it makes me fuzzy inside. :33

7. Josh Groban - Remember Me

Remember
I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory

Remember
When your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
Just remember me

I'm a sap at heart. So anything by Josh Groban pretty much melts me into goo or all floaty-hearts. So beautiful! *_____*

8. Alanis Morissette - Head Over Feet

You've already won me over in spite of me
Don't be alarmed if I fall head over feet
Don't be surprised if I love you for all that you are
I couldn't help it--it's all your fault!

Those who don't recognize the title will immediately snap their fingers upon reading the lyrics or hearing the song. XDDDD! I've been listening to it a lot lately. It's been my Ness/Paula song. I don't know why, but it does make me giddy. XDD;;;

9. Mario Club, Aya & Nakayoshi Pep Squad - Mario's Big Adventure

(???)

10. Mario Club, Aya & Nakayoshi Pep Squad - Koopa's Counting Song

(???)

Remember the days when you listened to music on big black vinyl records? That's where these two songs came from! They're super rare and are only uploaded at one specific site the collects old hard-to-find music--I'm pretty sure I lost the link though. Fuck. But Mario's Big Adventure is the Mario theme with lyrics added sung by little kids, and it's super cute. Likewise, Koopa's Counting Song is something bouncy, enjoyable and silly. :3

Mmm, moosic~! <333
