Puri's Plans For the Pokemon Rare Pair Challenge

Whee! I love alliteration. Anyway, I should've done this a few days ago, but I'm finally gonna list my plans for the Pokemon Rare Pair challenge!

- Darkrai + Alicia fic inspired by "No One Will Listen", a cut song from the "Phantom of the Opera" movie. I've been listening to the song a lot, and one day Darkrai burst in, and the lyrics felt like he was singing about Alicia after he meets her for the first time.

Several years ago, I would've jumped at the chance to write my old crackship, Alberto/Tonio. But thinking about the Alamos Trio these days makes me ill, and I can only stand reading the manga 'cause the movie pisses me off. Blegh. I still like Darkrai and Alicia's friendship though, so I'd be willing to write for them. :)

- There's still an unfinished Butler/Diane fic sitting on my hard-drive, which is like an epilogue for the sixth movie. I don't think I'll be finishing it for the challenge though, since I'd want to canon review by watching the movie again (and the Lucario movie too, since Kidd Summers makes a cameo appearance) and I'm feeling too tired to do that. Listing it here anyway, just in case. Nope, no unfinished fanfiction allowed. Oh well.

- Speaking of the Lucario movie, Sir Aaron/Lucario goodies! :D While a well-liked ship for those who have seen the movie, there's not a whole lot of fic around, so that's a possibility. And I can get my boyfriend to watch the Lucario movie with me so he can finally see why Lucario himself is awesome.

- Maybe Gameverse!Eusine/Crystal fic, with Eusine reflecting on their relationship and Crystal's mysterious disappearance. Sad feelings will be had. Man, my headcanon version of Eusine just keeps losing the people he loves. :(

- Dusknoir/Grovyle. Unlikely since I'd have to canon-review by playing the whole game over again (and PMD is a looooooooooooooong and time-consuming game), but another possibility.

Around six in the morning, I got past the Magma Pool guard and painted one of my Neopets "Magma." Yay! :D

All of these fic ideas sound pretty cool, I approve of them! (I would, however, mention that if I were you I wouldn't submit your Butler/Diane fic, because all pieces have to be crafted new for the challenge. I have thousands of words' worth of rare pair fics sitting on my hard drive, and yeah I could finish them all and count them for this challenge, but that'd kind of be cheating?? Same idea here.)

Best of luck with all of those, though! I'm especially psyched about the Sir Aaron fic!

Aw, thanks! :3 (I thought by "No unfinished fic for the challenge", I thought it meant unfinished fanfics that someone has posted parts online already, like an unfinished kink meme fill waiting for an update. Thanks for clarifying though!)
