shamanicshayminPlayed more YI (Whoo, swamp levels!) and finished the first disc of SatAM. About the characters...
C'mon, of course I like it. XDD!
Sally: Dunno why people complain about her appearance. I think she's very pretty. :o I'm not a rabid psycho fanatic of her, but I'd say she's my third or second favorite after Bunnie and Sonic. I love her intelligence and tactic and sense of authority, which is always good in a girl. :o She's not invincible and busting up SWATbots and always saving the day though, so I don't see what's so Sueish about her. oO;;; She just strikes me as a normal character--I want to see her for her regular qualities. Not someone to wibble over like a goddess and/or be all "ZOMG SHEZ SO BASHED AND OPRESSED!1!11" over. There's more to her than being fandom's resident leper to pity or scorn, but not someone I'd call revolutionary like John F. Kennedy either.
Bunnie: I predicted she'd be my favorite. So far, I'm right! :D What can I say? I feel this instant warmth around her, like home. (Must be the Southern accent. :o) She's super strong, but super adorable too--I love the little comments she made when she was on the plane, that was cute. :) Being half-roboticized scarred her for life, but she used it not in self-pity, but to help other people. I just admire that courage in her, and hope she gets as much screentime as possible! :o (Maybe even an episode, but that's unlikely) Not to mention like Sally, she's a good storyteller too. :3
Antoine: I don't like him. XD So far, he hasn't done anything, and I'm sitting here thinking, "Um, why is this guy a Freedom Fighter again?" Whiny little coward. I just don't think he's funny. D: It's fun when Bunnie pokes at him though. (There's nothing really much Buntoine in the series so far though. :/ Guess it's an Archie-only thing?)
Rotor: Aw, poor guy is so neglected. XD I know for sure I'd love to have him as a best friend though--he's a sweetheart. :) He reminds me of one of my friends for some reason, but I'm unsure. (But then, I think it's Dustin's fault. XDDD!) Watch me wail and cry when in Season 2, he takes steroids and weed and becomes one of those Atheist Otters from South Park.
Snively: Still pretty neutral to him. His nasally drawl in voice grows on ya though. XD Still waiting for him to do something drastic (like those sparks of evil there!). I hate to think what Robotnik does to him when he's angry though. :/
So, other stuff. There was an episode involving the Forbidden Zone, and Robotnik, being pure evil, awakens a wizard named Lazaar. The top of his hair had these individual parts where they looked like... the headspines of Silver's quills. No kidding, man.
Also? Sonic is ADORABLE wearing a red cloak and a hood. I so have to icon that! :o
