Back from Pan's Labyrinth. Rocked my socks most of the time, though most of it was pretty darn gloomy. D: I think I was wowed by the fantasy the most, but that could just be the fairy-tale geek in me. That eyeball guy was so funky and creepy and cool. *_______________* I didn't like how after Pan was all "OH NOES YOUR MORTAL U CANT JOIN US ANYMORE", it dragged out in misery and I kept screaming for the fantastic creatures to come back. :(

Person: *running in the woods from the soldiers*
Me: *thinking and screaming* Get in the labyrinth. Get in the labyrinth. GET IN THE STINKING LABYRINTH THE SOLDIERS CAN'T FIND YOU THERE

Also, one thing. When Ofilia's stepdad throws the mandrake root in the fire and her mother starts wailing in pain, why doesn't she just fill a bucket of water and throw it at the fire? She could've saved her mom AND the mandrake, you know.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd the stepdad kills almost everyone in the entire cast, including Ofilia. XD Mercedes lived though, she was cool. Yay~

Meanwhile, when it comes to violence, I'm a wuss. XDDD;;; I mean, I can handle gunshots, but stabbing and needles make me cringe. Like the beginning of the movie, where a guy stabs a prisoner's face with a broken bottle. *wince* @.@;;;; Later on when Mercedes PWNS the stepdad by stabbing him in various places and cutting a new opening along his mouth, he later goes to the mirror and works on sewing it together. @.@;;; He puts a bandaid on the stitching, and when he takes a drink, his bandaid bleeds. X_X

Puri cried at the end. 'Cause she's sentimental like that. Been a while since a movie moved me like that.
