Not that I think this'll help sharing, but what the friggin' hell. It's the most "something" I've ever done, even if I completely rushed the ending. Yay~! May or may not be a future (albeit, WAY future) scene in the Secret*Fic between Shadow & PANDORA. Obviously written while pissed off for catharsis.
Strangled by blood and bone, Shadow clawed his way through the crimson essence and vein-like marrow, live wires snapping out dragging him back, choking the wrangling hedgehog as he shredded through the tight web. There were a few nasty sparks—the black hedgehog found himself screaming, the bone crunching his cheeks, legs, and sides, the wires slicing his skin while coiling him in their electric wrath. Charred and cooked of near-corpse, Shadow’s head and fists fell where they were, the hell-red and death-white veins yanking them back as they buried the body in their essence. The tips of the wires wavered, crackling in threat as they bobbed before their “socket”. In jagged coughs, the black hedgehog hacked the blood lodged in his throat—PANDORA’s and his own. The bones stained scarlet, they embraced their prisoner, the supercomputer’s lens on the wall unblinking as he steadied the hedgehog within control.
“I can make this not hurt anymore, Shadow.” PANDORA remarked. “Would you rather I shock and crucify you until the time of the Big Crunch, with the Earth collapsing and raining meteors around us? We’re both weapons; let us become one. I assure you I won’t let it sting. Which immortality do you choose, Shadow?”
To “jolt” him awake, the computer rammed the wires into Shadow’s wrists, twisting through and jerking his hands and fingers in a distorted curve. until they cracked through the other side, the copper blooming and netting against his hands like static moths. The black hedgehog moaned lowly as the bones formed a cage around his ankles, the wires blooming to petals and netted inside, pumping like copper static butterflies, drinking blood for nectar. There was a whirring noise—his eyes heavy as bowling balls, Shadow squinted before a sphere of bumblebee lenses, twirling the red, white, and black image like a kaleidoscope. But like one in a horrific unfortunate situation, the black hedgehog wasn’t thinking about the pain.
Okay… what would Sonic do?
“I wish for you to confirm your choice as soon as possible, Shadow the Hedgehog. If you do not reach a decision, I will choose the circumstance that is least favorable for your condition. You certainly would not want this to happen.”
The black hedgehog slowly turned from the huge set of eyes, wincing beneath the steam. Shivering beneath the cracks, both were silent, save the snapping wires. But it didn't take long for him to "think"...
“Well?”
Shadow spat at the lens.
Red mixed with white spittle, it all dribbled down before everything went black.
Shadow © SEGA/Sonic Team, PANDORA © Puri. But it's not like anyone wants to steal him. So yay.
