The truth is, I'm rather sad. I've considered LJ to be my home, where I spend the most time online. When I migrated to DW, for some reason it crashes whenever I try to import years and years of LJ entries, so eventually I gave up and kept posting on DW like usual.
I love DW, I just wish it was more active. :/
In the glory days, LJ had RP, Kink Memes, fanfiction, icons, graphics... now it's a near wasteland because the current staff can't be bothered to listen to its own users. A lot of people have migrated to tumblr, but for reasons stated on my Plurk, I don't post there much. It's infested with Social Justice Warriors, and I can't stand them. Yes, I'm white and privileged and I don't consider "lame" to be an ableist slur, now shut up and leave me alone.
Basically I feel weird because I had a life and history on LJ. Eventually it's all going to be wiped out 'cause LJ doesn't give a fuck. Thanks LJ. There's a reason I let my paid subscription run out. At least I hadn't bought a Permanent Account. :/

Date: 2012-11-01 11:24 am (UTC)What the FUCK happened? Seriously. I am so not OK with this. I think part of why all I want to do anymore is mope and hope the world goes away is because of this shit. So many good friends aren't around anymore, or moved to websites I can't even use. Hey tumblr. Lend yourself well to chatty types and stop being buggy already!
The only productive thing to do right now really is make DW a usable home, because LJ's pretty much only going to change for the worse anymore.
