Genres/Firsts
1. What was the first video game you have ever played?
I believe that was "Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt + World Class Track Meet". ;D
2. What was your first console?
NES, hands down.
3. Have you ever visited a video game arcade?
Yep, plenty. A lot. X33
4. What was your first handheld?
A purple Gameboy Color. :o
5. What was the first game you've beaten/cleared completely? (Got to the last level/got 100%/beat high score, etc.)
"Super Mario Bros. 3" & "Kirby's Adventure" (though not 100% on the latter, I had one brown door left on the ship in Orange Ocean. XDD;;; But still!) There's also "Palemedes" or something like that (I know I misspelt that. XDDD;;;) and hence... one of the few, few games I've ever beaten at the time, not counting short stuff like "Sesame Street" ABCs & 123's. XDDD;;;
6. Games based off of real sports: Yay or Nay?
"Excitebike"! :DDD If it's a regular ol' sports game though, without "Mario" or "Sonic" or the like stamped to it, I ain't playing. XDDD;;;
7. Online games: Yay or nay?
Not really. But I do rock to H*R's stuff when in the mood. X333 W00t for Trogdor!
8. Do you play any Massively Multiplayer Online RPG games? (MMORPGs?)
No. ._.;;; It was a lonely, isolated experience in FFXI, and I wasn't getting anywhere, so... 'sides, I'm not that good on socializing or organizing myself with parties. ._.;;; That, and boo to shaky, unstable connections. I'd rather spend that time online doing video game fangirling on LJ. X3333 ;D
9. Do you play any virtual pet games? (Neopets, Teripets, Aftermathzone, etc.)
Neopets was addictive! *______________* I remember opening ten gajillion accounts and raising obscure/neglected Neopets for the hell of it. XDDD;;; (I still have fond memories of my Jubjubs, a Fairy*Chia named Sound Life, and a White*Usul. X3333) But then, firewalls started keeping me from going to places and feeding my pets, and it was either my Neopets, or my Internet connection. Haven't played Neopets since. :(
10. Puzzle games and Strategy games: Yay or Nay?
Mmm, Tetris~~ Basically, as long as it's not too impossible. X333

It was when the NES started blurring up and/or went kaput, or when one day, my purple Gameboy quit working after so many years, even with batteries pumped back into it. ._.;;;
Characters/Plot
14. Do you actually care if a game has a plot or do you just play games for the gameplay?
It depends. Tetris has zip plot, but that didn't stop it from being fun, right? ;D Plots in games can be weak, but I can still enjoy it for the characters and how fun the gameplay itself is. :) Plot though, definitely helps for stuff like RPGs and Zelda, even enhancing it. *nod* In RPGs especially, 'cause I want to CARE what happens, but gameplay should still come to key here--I don't want to be bored to death from random boss battles all the damn time with no reward. XDDD;;;

Boss Battles/Villains
24. Hardest Boss Battle
It's been too damn long since a boss has really thrown me around... ._.;;; But I'll say the special bosses (Though Zeromus mainly, I think) from FFIV and Culex from SMRPG and a lotta bosses from "Legend of Legaia" were tough. ._.;;;
25. Most Frustrating Boss Battle
I'll go with what one person and say when you're chasing Robotnik up the water level in Sonic 1. @.@;;;; But gods, I remember there were plenty that bugged me... uhh... I remember screaming at matches in "Pokémon", particulary in the Stadiums. XDDD But gods... Sabrina in Blue version. I'm never forgetting her, her CONSTANTLY recovering Alakazam, and that I had two humiliating defeats from her the whole game. Oh... and if it counts, yay for catching Legendary Pokémon! Especially with Ultra Balls and a Sleep-Attack knowing Pokémon in his/her 20's! @.@;;;;;;
Oh yeah. And making it aaaaaaaaaaaall the way to Robotnik in the Classic*Sonic games, only to lose your last life and final continue after all that hard work. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo~!
Ursula's 2nd form in Kingdom Hearts, too. Hated her, hated her, hated her. I still want to strangle the living... whatever, out of Kurt Zisa, too. Still haven't beaten him. :(
26. Most Rewarding Boss Battle
CULEX. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TIMES AND WAYS YOU'VE BEAT HIM ALREADY. I was so fucking proud of myself. And that later with the same team (Mario, Geno, Peach), I W-H-O-O-P-E-D Smithy's ass in both stages in less than a minute. X33333~!
And I was just... really shaky, when I beat Zeromus/Yevon, in FF4/FFX. Especially FFX... andgoodGODtheendingissad (butoneofthemostbittersweetandbestendingsinagameever). You can imagine my relief the first time I beat the Elite 4 & my rival, with my utter cry of "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!" when I beat him. Which led to freedom, the Unknown Dungeon, and Mewtwo~~
Finally beating Robotnik in Sonic 2. Getting the Emeralds was so effing hard (needed my brother to play as Tails for me. XDDD;;;), but gods, the pretty ending was worth it. So effing worth it. *___________*
27. Funnest Boss Battle
Rawk Hawk in Glitzville! X333 Heck, Glitzville was fun in general. Fighting the Shy Guy General in the original Paper Mario was cool, too. ^^
28. Most Boring Boss Battle
Most RPG bosses? XDDD;;;
29. Boss Battle that dragged out for a long, long time
I don't think Jynx from SMRPG counts as a boss, but I held out for a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long time at a low level before he killed me. XDDD;;; Can't really remember, but dang, a lot of the bosses in "Legend of Legaia", I thought I was going to be stuck fighting forever, and it wasn't an "oh-god-this-is-dull-moving-on" experience either. ._.;;;;
30. Boss Battle with the coolest music
*thinks of Biolizard and "Supporting Me" in the background* *sniffle* WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~! T___________________________________________________T Thatfightmakesmecryaaaaaasaaaaaaaaadnooooooooo.But it does make me go, "Hah! Where's your emo kid now? :P" butthissongisforsobbingconvulsivelysonevermind.
Both Paper Marios, each of the bosses had their own music. Not to mention a lotta the choices were really fucking awesome. X3333 (Rawk Hawk leaps to mind again. And the Shy Guy General. Whee~!)

That, and after playing a few more RPGs, I started expecting more than just "one" Final Battle(s). XDDD

Mmm... this is a harder question than I thought. A lotta my favorite baddies are anti-heroes and/or turn good. XDDDD;;; So I'm gonna be cliché and hand the crown to the king himself, King Bowser Koopa. :o 8)

SEPHIROTH. *cough* XDDDD
Really. I don't see what's so great about that guy other than him being OMG SO AWESOME/HAWT!!1 and considering the BEZT VILLAIN EVA!!1 all because he stabbed a sword through Aeris's chest. :/ A villain next to him can do so much effing worse, but Sephiroth would get all the glory 'cause he's got the good looks. :/ I want SUBSTANCE in my villains, damn it!

Oh hell, yes. @.@;;; Pikachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff, Ice Climbers, Mario, Peach, Toad, Blaze the Cat, and gods... Shadow. Shadow Shadow Shadow. I'm a little... *cough* Let's say I go on a Super*Bitch R-A-M-P-A-G-E on that part. And that is why I have no friends. XD

Wow! Now that we reach THAT part...! XDDDD;;; Basically funky and/or obscure games no one likes and/or cares about but me, like ShtH, "Hey You! Pikachu!", "Sonic R" (I don't care, thecorny but pretty~~~! music makes me fuzzy! X3333), NES*Pinball (with the special Mario & Pauline stage! :o), and who can you call the Queen of "Wario's Woods"? Me! Me! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH~! X3333333333333333! And "Sonic Heroes", while I don't consider it the best "Sonic" game EVER, the only thing that really rubbed me the wrong way and bugged me was the painfully corny dialouge between Sonic & Metal Sonic in the final battle. C'mon, Metal didn't deserve that! :( (That, and the dub voice-acting didn't help either. XDDD;;;)
I also like my Sapphire version of Pokémon, even if most fans continuously whine and moan about the new Pokémon. *rolls eyes*

Shadow. Ever since SEGA shoves him everywhere, half the world grows sick & tired and hates him now. XDDD When it's all SEGA'S fault for 99.98% of everything funky going on with Shadow, but yeah, where do you think the fantards go first? *sniffle*
Regarding this part, either the characters I like are either loved OR hated by equal sides, or are obscure and don't NEARLY get enough attention as they should. ._.;;; But again, there's a few commonly disliked characters I happen to adore, and well... it puzzles me when they're picked on. ._.;;; Lesse, there's a lotta the PM allies, Blaze, Cream, Charmy, Gamma, etc. Gods, don't get me started on SSBM either, with the Ice Climbers, the Pokémon and such who are ignored and/or bashed in favor of Marth, Roy, Link & Zelda. ._.;;;; (Wonder how the OMGPEACHISFOREBILORSTEREOTYPEDROMANCE fad's going on in the SSBM section right now...)

...I don't get the appeal of "Sonic Adventure 1". Or Ryan Drummond voicing Sonic. *SHOT'D!* Sure, it's got its moments, but... I just thought it really sucked. ._.;;;;
Never played Halo or GTA, nor am I interested. XDDD;; And FF7, while I DO hope to get through that stupid game one day, I don't hate it or anything and won't deny there's neat things about it, it's just... I'm so effing SICK of seeing this game everywhere. I don't see what's so great about that guy other than him being OMG SO AWESOME/HAWT!!1 and considering the BEZT VILLAIN EVA!!1 all because he stabbed a sword through Aeris's chest. :/ A villain next to him can do so much effing worse, but Sephiroth would get all the glory 'cause he's got the good looks. :/ I want SUBSTANCE in my villains, damn it!
