Sep. 25th, 2003 02:42 pmOkay, I must say that it's been a while since I went online. I've been on for a few days actually, I just haven't had much time to update my journal yet. Sooooo... here I am, and let me explain what's been happening lately.
One day last week, some child care group came to my house. Considering the whole place is a mess and my parents were having trouble taking care of themselves and having medical and finicial problems, they took my sister, brother, and I in the car and drove off. My brother was dropped off in a foster home early, but my sister and I had to sit and sign papers to stay for 24 hours at a YMCA.
Gods, it was awful. It was a very creepy place; I felt like I was in prison. Everyone was treated like they were the most dangerous thing on Earth, no matter how big or little their situation is. You had to keep your eye on every valuable you had to make sure they weren't being stolen or something. Finally, nobody could go anywhere unless everyone was there. Therefore, if you're running late for school and some kid is asleep, you had to wait there until he got into the same room as anyone else. I also asked this lady kindly if I could go back from the kitchen into the living room to rest and she rudely told me I had to stay where I was. o_O My sister and I managed to speak with this nice girl who was an Anime' fan, (and a couple other kids seemed to like me) but other than that... ugh. And why the heck is the air conditioning so cold at night? Pretty much the only positive thing someone had to say about the place was "I don't want to leave! There's free food here!". Not so fun at the YMCA after all, huh? >.<
Anyway, thankfully we both got out of there and into our foster homes. My area is okay... some things need to be sorted out like eating diets and I argue with the siblings a few times, but other than that, I'm fine. I get to visit my dad, sister, and brother on an occasion too... the first time, Dad was all shaky and stuff but the second time, he's got his medicine and was very cheerful. My brother is doing great at his foster home, (Gah, he's got "Sonic" and I'm stuck with "Crash Bandicoot"! XD) and my sister is at a farm watching Anime' with her foster parent and able to let one of her friends come visit her.
Daisy and Captain should be coming down to rent a house next week soon, meaning the siblings and I could go live with them together until the judge releases news that we could go home. Dad has been cleaning up and working like heck so we could move to our new house near my school in Venice, Florida. A lot of crap has gone on, and I sometimes feel really scared, depressed and angry, but someday, I'll have to come back to my real family sooner or later. After that, hopefully everything will become better again, and go back to living a quiet, happy life with my video games, Anime', Internet, and friends. :D
Aaaaaaaaaand since I'm using an AOL server, my time is probably almost up. ^^; But hey, I updated this, so that makes me happy. See you all again later!
