Kureha: One of your only human neighbors. She despises bears and blames them for the loss of her mother, and practices shooting in the woods to prepare herself to avenge her. She advises you not to get close to her, for anyone who befriends her meets a terrible fate. Yet she’s warm around fellow human Sumika, and vows to protect her from anything that could hurt her. Could you convince her to open her heart and let you in?
Ginko: The first bear you meet. She believes you are throwing her off the scent of Kureha, one of the most delicious humans she’s ever smelled—by smelling as equally delectable. She fully intends to devour you to get you of the way. Yet even without her best friend Lulu keeping her urges in check, something always holds her back. Is there something else to you she finds irresistible?
Lulu: A cheerful bear who finds you cute as well as yummy, and happily willing to spare you as long as you keep her and Ginko’s identities a secret. She claims to be fattening you up with her cooking (“I’m so clever!”) yet she seems to take genuine delight in your company.
