Undertale
This game came out in late 2015 and I'm still obsessed with it. Figures. And now that it's coming out on PS4 and Vita, I'm jumping right down to play it through them because I'm weak. It's just that powerful, poignant, funny, dark, heartbreaking, and empowering of a game. And since one of its biggest influences was the Mother series, it's catering to my tastes right there. :P
As Undertale is a game heavily reliant on speculation and interpretation (especially the human characters), you don’t have to take my headcanons/views of the characters at face value. I just thought I’d illustrate them to show you how I’d like to see them portrayed. :3
Important: Please use they/them pronouns for Frisk and Chara, as well as Monster Kid and Napstablook in case they pop up! I'd also humongously appreciate it if you don't refer to Frisk, Asriel, and Chara as siblings in or out of the narrative, especially Chara & Asriel. Thanks!
Chara x Frisk x Asriel
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everyone loves everyone
I can go on and on how much the Frisk + Chara + Asriel dynamics mean to me, whether it be friendship or an OT3. Frisk and Chara found in each other the first human they can trust, and helped each other discover the good they are capable of and are so much more than what the humans who hurt/abused/neglected them deemed they should be. Chara and Asriel’s devotion to each other is sweet, which later got twisted to codependency due to forces outside their control—their determination to look at themselves critically and seek to change for the better is what would help their friendship heal and become stronger than ever post-True Pacifist. As for Frisk and Asriel, hoo boy. Flowey and Frisk feel like complete opposites, but his speech in the Genocide route shows that the two of them aren’t that much different; they were both innocent kind-hearted kids who got beaten down by tragedy, then after being given Reset Powers, their desperation for love (or the ability to feel it again) and control over their lives again led them to become cruel and apathetic, even killing people out of curiosity. I think after the two of them were lonely for so long, Frisk’s understanding of Asriel’s situation was part of why they were able to reach out and save him while he was Hyperdeath.
What I’m saying is the three of them complement each other in so many ways, and I love drawing comparisons and contrasts between everyone in the striped trio. All three of them are messed up in some way which actually draws them closer together (Asriel with everything involving Chara's death and Flowey, Chara despising humanity from a young age, Frisk falling down Mt. Ebott for an unknown reason that's often implied to be suicide), and watching them heal and grow and learn to communicate and share their feelings and take care of each other in a post-True Pacifist scenario is my kryptonite. ;;
I'm okay with the self-harm headcanon for Chara. However, if you go that route, I must ask that you A. Write Chara as having quit or learning to quit. B. Not romanticize self-harm in any shape or form. C. DO NOT depict the actual act of self-harm (ex. a graphic scene of Chara cutting or burning themself)
Papyrus x Frisk x Asriel/Flowey
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Asriel loves (or tolerates, if still Flowey) Frisk & Papyrus, while Frisk & Papyrus are friends.
Darn it, I know this is cracky as all hell, but the idea of Frisk joining Papyrus in the Flowey Fan Club and the two of them showering affection on a tsundere flower is adorable as all hell. Flowey admits Papyrus took him the longest to get bored of. But I rarely see fics where Papyrus and Asriel interact post-True Pacifist, which is a shame because those two are a goldmine of potential due to their "friendship" while Asriel was still Flowey. I always thought it would be sweet if Asriel admitted the truth about himself (including the fact he manipulated him) and Papyrus forgave him, or if Papyrus was one of the biggest driving factors to Flowey having a soul again. I can also see him cheerleading Asriel with Frisk as he adjusts to his original body, as well as the weird moodswings that come from being able to feel love and compassion again. :o
Fics/art/comics/etc. where Papyrus, Frisk, and Flowsriel all take care of each other and giving Flowsriel hope of living a normal life with a soul again would make me very happy. ;; That said, I am FULLY aware of the age difference between Papyrus and Frisk and Flowsriel, so if a romantic OT3 were to happen, all I ask is A. Only pair up Frisk and Flowsriel with Papyrus when they’re both older. Crushes from when they are little are fine (hell, Frisk attempting to be Papyrus’s boyfriend is canon depending on the choices you make in-game), but Papyrus shouldn’t reciprocate until they’re grown up. B. I don't want anything too "dark" in their relationship. Acknowledgment of Flowey's deeds is fine as long as it's not too severe (canon-typical manipulation and murders are fine, but nothing from my dislikes), but please don't have post-True Pacifist!Flowsriel be cruel or abusive to Papyrus and Frisk. (And I mean Evil Sadistic Asshole levels, not "I'm a person and I can be mean and fuck up sometimes" levels) I want to see him heal and grow as a person, not be a reenactment of Flowey at his worst. Besides, I can't stand Papyrus being tortured. D: C. Feel free to get around the age gap by making Asriel come back as an adult when he regains his soul, and have Frisk be around the same age he is when he does. I bet that’d be quite a surprise to the main cast, seeing another Boss Monster aside from Toriel and Asgore. :o D. Once again, please please please please please age up Frisk and Flowsriel!
Mettaton x Papyrus x Sans
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Mettaton loves the skelebros, while Papyrus & Sans love and support each other as family.
I blame fandom and the two endings where the skelebros serve as agents for King Mettaton. :P I love the idea of Mettaton falling for both skeletons and loving them in different ways; he and Papyrus would build each other up and admire each other, while Sans provides witty banter and keeps him grounded. I love the idea of a post-True Pacifist scenario where Mettaton makes it big on the surface and starts becoming more curious about the skelebros when Sans takes Papyrus to all his concerts. I can see Sans being protective at first (not overprotective “THE BONE ZONE IS CLOSED” levels, just cautious due to said MTT endings) when Papyrus starts dating MTT, but after a while realizes he isn’t that bad, and might just end up falling for the sexy robot in spite of himself… Just flood me with sexy rectangles and bishounen, spaghetti, puzzles, hot dogs (or cats), Sans trying to rip off MTT with his wares, and terrible TERRIBLE puns, and I’m golden. 8)
Revolutionary Girl Utena
I can't believe this series is at its 20th anniversary. ;; Let's see, we got complex characters, gorgeous animation(when it's not in Dorito Mode, haha. XD), badass music, PSYCHOLOGICAL SYMBOLISM GALORE, a fuck-you to gender roles and the idea of girls-loving-girls as "childish," standing up for yourself and your beliefs even when the entire world is against who you are, shredding toxic masculinity to itty bitty little pieces, deconstructing the most harmful aspects of fairy-tales (or at least the harmful aspects the patriarchy added, since a lot of fairy-tales actually have their roots as “old wives tales” shared among women. :o), and the defiance of destiny and established norms to build your own identity and your own roads. Hell yes.
Utena x Anthy x Wakaba
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Utena loves Anthy and Wakaba, while Anthy & Wakaba become friends.
Anthy and Wakaba are so important to Utena’s life in different but equally significant ways, and I’d love to see that explored. Because jealousy is a running theme throughout the series in all its incarnations (namely how destructive it can be and how it can be used as a weapon to turn girls against each other) I think it’d be amazing if post-series Anthy and Wakaba reflected on their own jealousy issues as a way for us to see how far they’ve grown now that they’re free from Ohtori’s clutches. :o I believe if Anthy and Wakaba gave each other a chance, they’d see they have more in common than they think: they’ve both been used by Saionji (physical/verbal abuse for Anthy, abandonment for Wakaba) and they held on to fairy tale ideals only to have them blow up in their faces because of who they are (Anthy unable to save or be with Dios ‘cause LOL SHE’S A WITCH, Wakaba being too “normal” or insignificant for any prince to bother to notice her) Yet both of them remind Utena who she truly is and what she is fighting for, helping her regain her agency—and in turn—revolutionize the world.
And I want to mention how much the Wakaba jeep in the movie means to me and how much it makes me wibble. ‘Cause omg. ;;
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Things I love: Magical girls. Cosmic horrors. Put them both together and you get this show. :D(Of course, Madoka's more of a tragedy than horror story, but still!) I love the witches and the labyrinths and Inu Curry’s bizarre unique style. And I love how despite all the darkness, Madoka herself gives the middle finger to nihilism and emphasizes the message of hope and agency as earlier magical girl shows had done before her. I have so many mixed feelings about Rebellion. More on that in a bit.
Homura x Madoka x Sayaka x Mami x Kyouko
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody
I just want a universe where the five girls can be puella magi in a system that isn’t a load of horse baloney, or living happily ever after in Godoka’s magical girl heaven. Maybe something based off the PSP route where Homura takes care of everybody (aka the one where Mami becomes a beloved pop star) and they succeed defeating Walpurgis? Maybe an early timeline where everybody roots for Moemura? Post-series timeline where everyone works together and Homura tells them about Madoka (or tries?)
Homura x Madoka x Sayaka
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Madoka loves Homura and Sayaka, Homura and Sayaka tolerate each other and learn to be friends and/or possible lovers as well.
With Homura and Sayaka, this is where you can exploit the Enemy Mine trope for all its worth! :3 If there’s one thing that unites those two, it’s their love for Madoka and their desire for her well-being. I can see them both competing over Madoka who can please her most, while Madoka herself nips conflicts in the bud due to her love for both of them. One of the things I liked about Rebellion was how much Sayaka matured and how… aware she seemed to be of Homura’s situation, indirectly telling her she’s been through something similar and can help her if she’d let her. Then there’s the fact Sayaka seems suspicious something is Off with Homucifer’s world, and she’s likely the catalyst to helping Madoka regain her memory and stop/save Homura for good.
tl;dr: for all Homura polyships, all the Rebellion fix-it fic please. Fuck yes.
Mami x Kyouko x Sayaka
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody
I’m absolutely in love with A Different Story, aka what I call Puella Magi Mami Madoka. I loved the character studies of Mami and Kyouko, and the way it dealt with their relationship with each other, from teacher-student to clashing ideologies to eventual forgiveness. But what really got to me was how Mami agonized over self-perfection. She wants others to see her as capable/calm/selfless/experienced and BE the role, or else when they find out she's not the "cool big sis" they imagined her to be, they would abandon her and sentence her back to loneliness... something I personally relate with all too well. So the scene where she confesses to Sayaka that she's not the flawless heroine she was hoping for, and later, the arc with Kyouko confronting Mami after her break-down? Knowing that Sayaka didn't care and saw her as a friend, warts and all, and Kyouko fighting to help her and sacrificing herself in spite of the rift in their relationship hits a strong chord with me. I found it heartwarming and consider the ending to be bittersweet because of that; Mami realized that she had friends who loved and respected her regardless of the decisions she made, and expressed hope in her farewell letter that the five of them would meet again in another life someday. Which I totally believe they do at the entire of the series, thanks to Godoka. ;; Hell, Hanokage ships those three together as much as I do, even giving an entire page to talk about them.
So whether it’s the three of them meeting together in the afterlife, or a timeline where they’re happy and alive together to the end, and of course, the ol’ “Living Together in Magical Girl Heaven,” I’m good. :3
Pokemon
Pokemon has been in my life since I was ten, and when I got Blue version at eleven, my whole world flipped upside-down. 20 years later, here I am. XD
Morty x Eusine x Falkner
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Morty loves Eusine and Falker, while Eusine and Falkner tolerate each other enough to please Morty.
While Eusine was on his search for Suicune (which I headcanon started when he turned ten, making him 20 during Crystal/HG/SS), I can see Morty starting to see Falkner a lot and falling for him. He tells him about Eusine, eventually introduces Eusine to Falkner, and everyone agrees an OT3 can work out. That said, I also see Eusine and Falkner not liking each other too much at first (Eusine finding Falkner way too serious and rigid, Falkner not trusting Eusine to not dump Morty for some pretty purple-maned diamond dog) and competing for Morty’s affections, in and out of bed. Nothing too serious or angst-worthy—hell, the two of them could grow to see they aren’t as bad as they thought the other was, though that drive to see Who Could Please Morty Better would always be there. Hell, Morty might be amused or turned on by this competition too. <.<
May x Zinnia x Lisia
Preferred Poly Dynamic: May loves Zinnia and Lisia, while Zinnia is fascinated by Lisia and just getting to know her and the world of contests (though she doesn’t partake in them herself)
I fell in love with May/Lisia thanks to the remakes, and the Delta episode introduced me May/Zinnia too. Put the three characters together, and this could get interesting. :o I can see Zinnia watching May at one of her contests to see what the fuss is about and be introduced to Zinnia. She doesn’t partake in contests herself (hell, Aster would probably be more interested than she is), but I can see her being fascinated, especially when it’s May—or even Lisia—up on the ring. :o
Dawn x Lucas x Barry
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody
Those three are pure and precious and wonderful and I love them. ;; I see Dawn being the Champion and Lucas being Professor Rowan’s assistant, but that’s my personal preference and the way I played D/P/Pt. ;D How do Barry and Lucas react to some of the Legendaries Dawn has caught and befriended, from the adorable Shaymin to goddamn Darkrai and Giratina? What if Lucas ends up with a Manaphy egg and gives one Phione each to Dawn and Barry? I like the idea of each member of the Lake Trio being matched with one of the kids like in the Pokemon Adventures manga, so have fun with that too. : ) Do they partake in Underground adventures and lay traps for each other and whatnot? I spent HOURS digging around Underground. (cough) Or it can be something simple, like the three of them getting warm during Sinnoh winters by sharing the same scarf. : )
Volkner x Jasmine x Flint
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Volkner loves Flint and Jasmine, while Flint and Jasmine become friends.
I’m a hardcore Volkner/Flint shipper, but after seeing gorgeous fanart, I couldn’t help shipping Volkner/Jasmine too. ;; I love the idea of Jasmine becoming friends with Volkner and Flint during her visit to Sunyshore, and I can see them seeing her in Olivine in return (cue Flint teasing Volkner endlessly about Jasmine. XD) I can see Flint’s personality being infectious and helping Jasmine gain confidence to talk to Volkner more. :3 Maybe their Pokemon could hang out too, like Rusty the Steelix (Fun facts: that bastard destroyed me in a Cute Contest. A Cute Contest) being curled up in a snake ball that Jolteon and Flareon cuddle on top of?
N x Hilda x Hilbert
Preferred Poly Dynamic: N loves Hilda and Hilbert, while Hilda and Hilbert are friends or siblings.
N deserves to be free from Ghetsis, and his character development in B2/W2 made me so happy. ;; I want to see him reunite with Hilda and Hilbert, and that would be so sweet. Do they take non-awkward ferris wheel rides this time? What about Pokemon musicals? Do they see one of the new cult classics Nate and/or Rosa star in? What different things have three of them seen in their time apart?
Grimsley x Karen x Sidney

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is everything I could possibly want in Pokemon games. I got incredibly invested in my avatar, my partner, and all the teammates and Pokemon I befriend, and the first two in the series (Rescue Team, Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky) are the ones I'm most fond of. Want to get your heart ripped to pieces before picking them back up and sewing them back together? Here you go, here’s Mystery Dungeon. <.<
Absol/Player/Partner
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody
During the fugitive storyline in Rescue Team, the Absol you meet in the snowy mountains is the one Pokemon who joins you in your quest to find Ninetales and discover the truth about the human who abandoned Gardevoir. Now that takes a certain amount of dedication and trust, and one that I believe sticks with the Player and their Partner (hell, I know it did for me). Does Absol become something like the unofficial “Second Partner” after the main story? Does Absol accompany them through the post-game dungeons and Gengar’s redemption arc?
Grovyle/Player/Partner
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Player loves Partner and Grovyle, while Partner and Grovyle have come to respect and trust each other.
Speaking of redemption arcs, boy does PM2 have them. In this case, it’s not that Grovyle needed redeeming, but proving his innocence to the Player and Partner. Especially the Partner, for whom they had come to admire Dusknoir so much and has trouble coming to terms with him being the actual antagonist while Grovyle was actually the one trying to save the world. :o I want to see their journey together more in depth—I want the Player to come to the realization that Grovyle was as important to them in their Human life as the Partner is in their Pokemon life, and not willing to give either of them up. (Cue the tears due to Grovyle sacrificing himself, then later the Player, leaving all three of them all alone anyway. OUCH) Maybe in an AU or Arceus deciding to Play With Dimensions, Grovyle is able to stay in Player & Partner’s world or is able to go back and forth and visit them, or else see them one last time?
Dusknoir/Grovyle/Celebi
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Grovyle loves Dusknoir and Celebi, while Dusknoir and Celebi are acquainted or become friends.
I've loved Grovyle/Celebi since Celebi implied having a crush on him, fell for Dusknoir/Grovyle when I saw this official art of them (go figure, my Enemy Mine fangirlism went off the charts), and then when all three of them worked together to stop Primal Dialga... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! There’s so much to work with when it comes to these three! :o
How did Grovyle (and in extension, the Player character) and Celebi first meet up with each other and agree to save the future? How many times has Dusknoir caught Grovyle and/or Celebi and they managed to escape? While working together for the first time, how does one nurse the other if they get injured? How do Grovyle and Celebi help Dusknoir adjust post-game after the future is saved? Do Dusknoir and Celebi take the chance to get to know each other better? Feel free to throw in Pokemon post-Gen 4 onward. What does Grovyle think of the idea of evolution, let alone Mega Evolution? Would that have thrown a wrench in his plans, or would he think that would slow him down? All I ask is if you're writing post-ending fic to not warp Dusknoir back into being evil, as I believe that will undo all his character development.
Super Smash Bros.
Smash Bros. Take the biggest Nintendo stars (and a few from other franchises), put them in the same arena together, and watch them duke it out. People had crazy crossover ships in this fandom before, but then Brawl came out with Subspace Emissary, and BAM! The shipping reached critical mass. :o
Lucas x Red x Ness
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Lucas loves Red and Ness, while Red and Ness are friends and/or also partners.
The Red & Lucas storyline was my favorite from Subspace Emissary, and after reuniting with Ness (who earlier saved Lucas from the Pokey Statue and Wario in a dramatic gesture of heroism *fangirl sigh*) it only makes sense for the three of them to become close. :o What’s it like when Lucas introduces Ness and Red to each other?
Ness x Villager x Lucas
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody
I have a headcanon that Villager used to be timid and kind of horrified about the idea of brawling (as shown in Brawl’s Animal Crossing stage), but thanks to Ness and/or Lucas’s kindness, they gained the confidence to become a Smash Fighter themself. :o I’m not picky whether it’s male or female villager… hell, they can even be NB, trans, or on the intersex spectrum if that’s what you want to work with. :)
Lucas x Ness x Red x Villager
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Ness, Lucas, and Villager love each other, while Red loves Lucas and is friends with Ness and Villager.
So Villager and Red aren’t Smashers at the same time (Red in Brawl, only Charizard in Smash 4)… needless to say, I do not care. XD Maybe Red sends Ness and Lucas letters, and they talk to him about Villager? Maybe Red visits to root for Charizard and the three of them? Maybe Red doesn’t brawl himself, but stays to tend to Charizard and the other Pokemon after their battles? Maybe they all get a time to hang out in between Brawls, like a visit to Onett or the Villager’s town for a burger lunch or something. : )
Optional for all ships, and only if you know the canons: all the canon mingling from Pokemon, Earthbound, Mother 3, and/or Animal Crossing will make me one happy soul~ ♥

Earthbound gives me a lot of warm and fuzzy feelings, and it's given me a gaming experience I'll never forget. ;; Weird enemies, a lot of laughs, memorable characters, horrific nightmare fuel... and of course, how utterly heartwarming the whole journey is. ;;

I want to see those four kids grow up and become happy in a world free of Giygas. ;; While they’ve no doubt been through some terrifying shit that’ll likely stay with them in their later years (see: willing to sacrifice themselves as robots knowing the risk they could never come back and see their friends and family again, Mother. Fucking. Giygas.), they discovered many incredible things and had rich experiences throughout travelling the world that they wouldn’t give up for anything, and if anyone knows this journey best, the one filled with smiles and tears… it’s shared by none other than the Chosen Four themselves. So please tell me how all of them keep in touch with each other, and being there for each other throughout their lives: Ness getting help with his guilt regarding Pokey, the boys helping Paula deal with the stress from the paparazzi and her memories of the Happy Happy cult, Jeff having a cheerleader throughout college and letting him vent when things between him and Dr. Andonuts aren’t going well, and Poo being assured that his ancestors will be proud of him and he’ll do a great job when it’s time for him to be king. ;;
Optional: I love Tony and Jeff/Tony, so if you want to mention him somewhere, feel free to have Jeff/Tony be canon, Jeff letting him know about his relationship with Ness, Paula, and Poo, and Tony being okay with it (though he won’t be involved with Ness, Paula, or Poo himself). Madotsuki/Frisk/Chara
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody (with emphasis on Madotsuki)
Madotsuki is a hikikomori who may or may not have had a traumatic violent past, judging by the horrific sights she can encounter in her dreams and the fact one of the "effects" she can pick up is a knife she could use to stab anything and anyone (and is not necessary to the gameplay unless you use it to slash open a wall to a secret area, which at the end is a disturbing mass of imagery that scares her awake). And judging by the ending, implied to be suicidal. Chara is another child who may have or may not have had a traumatic violent past, judging by their hatred of humanity. Their suicide was successful, and if the Player decides to go the Genocide route, they can be warped into a cruel and violent person. While kinder than the three of them at heart (you have to gain Chara and Madotsuki’s trust to access their softer centers), Frisk has the same potential for cold cruelty and mass destruction. Like Madotsuki and Chara, they’re implied to be suicidal and may have been neglected, and harbor the same curiosity about their surroundings and certain “what ifs.” Like Madotsuki, Frisk is calm regarding frightening sights and situations, sometimes even to the point of apathy. Considering everything the three of them might have endured pre-game events, I'm astonished how much they have in common. I can see Frisk trying to help Madotsuki and Chara at the expense of their own safety, while Madotsuki and Chara emphasize how much their life matters—and eventually realize theirs have value too. I'm far more interested in "Sad Angry And/Or Numb Children bonding" over "Sadistic Serial Killers in partnership," but other than that, I’d love to see what you come up with!

Undertale
This game came out in late 2015 and I'm still obsessed with it. Figures. And now that it's coming out on PS4 and Vita, I'm jumping right down to play it through them because I'm weak. It's just that powerful, poignant, funny, dark, heartbreaking, and empowering of a game. And since one of its biggest influences was the Mother series, it's catering to my tastes right there. :P
As Undertale is a game heavily reliant on speculation and interpretation (especially the human characters), you don’t have to take my headcanons/views of the characters at face value. I just thought I’d illustrate them to show you how I’d like to see them portrayed. :3

Chara x Frisk x Asriel

I can go on and on how much the Frisk + Chara + Asriel dynamics mean to me, whether it be friendship or an OT3. Frisk and Chara found in each other the first human they can trust, and helped each other discover the good they are capable of and are so much more than what the humans who hurt/abused/neglected them deemed they should be. Chara and Asriel’s devotion to each other is sweet, which later got twisted to codependency due to forces outside their control—their determination to look at themselves critically and seek to change for the better is what would help their friendship heal and become stronger than ever post-True Pacifist. As for Frisk and Asriel, hoo boy. Flowey and Frisk feel like complete opposites, but his speech in the Genocide route shows that the two of them aren’t that much different; they were both innocent kind-hearted kids who got beaten down by tragedy, then after being given Reset Powers, their desperation for love (or the ability to feel it again) and control over their lives again led them to become cruel and apathetic, even killing people out of curiosity. I think after the two of them were lonely for so long, Frisk’s understanding of Asriel’s situation was part of why they were able to reach out and save him while he was Hyperdeath.
What I’m saying is the three of them complement each other in so many ways, and I love drawing comparisons and contrasts between everyone in the striped trio. All three of them are messed up in some way which actually draws them closer together (Asriel with everything involving Chara's death and Flowey, Chara despising humanity from a young age, Frisk falling down Mt. Ebott for an unknown reason that's often implied to be suicide), and watching them heal and grow and learn to communicate and share their feelings and take care of each other in a post-True Pacifist scenario is my kryptonite. ;;
I'm okay with the self-harm headcanon for Chara. However, if you go that route, I must ask that you A. Write Chara as having quit or learning to quit. B. Not romanticize self-harm in any shape or form. C. DO NOT depict the actual act of self-harm (ex. a graphic scene of Chara cutting or burning themself)
Papyrus x Frisk x Asriel/Flowey
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Asriel loves (or tolerates, if still Flowey) Frisk & Papyrus, while Frisk & Papyrus are friends.
Darn it, I know this is cracky as all hell, but the idea of Frisk joining Papyrus in the Flowey Fan Club and the two of them showering affection on a tsundere flower is adorable as all hell. Flowey admits Papyrus took him the longest to get bored of. But I rarely see fics where Papyrus and Asriel interact post-True Pacifist, which is a shame because those two are a goldmine of potential due to their "friendship" while Asriel was still Flowey. I always thought it would be sweet if Asriel admitted the truth about himself (including the fact he manipulated him) and Papyrus forgave him, or if Papyrus was one of the biggest driving factors to Flowey having a soul again. I can also see him cheerleading Asriel with Frisk as he adjusts to his original body, as well as the weird moodswings that come from being able to feel love and compassion again. :o
Fics/art/comics/etc. where Papyrus, Frisk, and Flowsriel all take care of each other and giving Flowsriel hope of living a normal life with a soul again would make me very happy. ;; That said, I am FULLY aware of the age difference between Papyrus and Frisk and Flowsriel, so if a romantic OT3 were to happen, all I ask is A. Only pair up Frisk and Flowsriel with Papyrus when they’re both older. Crushes from when they are little are fine (hell, Frisk attempting to be Papyrus’s boyfriend is canon depending on the choices you make in-game), but Papyrus shouldn’t reciprocate until they’re grown up. B. I don't want anything too "dark" in their relationship. Acknowledgment of Flowey's deeds is fine as long as it's not too severe (canon-typical manipulation and murders are fine, but nothing from my dislikes), but please don't have post-True Pacifist!Flowsriel be cruel or abusive to Papyrus and Frisk. (And I mean Evil Sadistic Asshole levels, not "I'm a person and I can be mean and fuck up sometimes" levels) I want to see him heal and grow as a person, not be a reenactment of Flowey at his worst. Besides, I can't stand Papyrus being tortured. D: C. Feel free to get around the age gap by making Asriel come back as an adult when he regains his soul, and have Frisk be around the same age he is when he does. I bet that’d be quite a surprise to the main cast, seeing another Boss Monster aside from Toriel and Asgore. :o D. Once again, please please please please please age up Frisk and Flowsriel!
Mettaton x Papyrus x Sans
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Mettaton loves the skelebros, while Papyrus & Sans love and support each other as family.
I blame fandom and the two endings where the skelebros serve as agents for King Mettaton. :P I love the idea of Mettaton falling for both skeletons and loving them in different ways; he and Papyrus would build each other up and admire each other, while Sans provides witty banter and keeps him grounded. I love the idea of a post-True Pacifist scenario where Mettaton makes it big on the surface and starts becoming more curious about the skelebros when Sans takes Papyrus to all his concerts. I can see Sans being protective at first (not overprotective “THE BONE ZONE IS CLOSED” levels, just cautious due to said MTT endings) when Papyrus starts dating MTT, but after a while realizes he isn’t that bad, and might just end up falling for the sexy robot in spite of himself… Just flood me with sexy rectangles and bishounen, spaghetti, puzzles, hot dogs (or cats), Sans trying to rip off MTT with his wares, and terrible TERRIBLE puns, and I’m golden. 8)

Anthy and Wakaba are so important to Utena’s life in different but equally significant ways, and I’d love to see that explored. Because jealousy is a running theme throughout the series in all its incarnations (namely how destructive it can be and how it can be used as a weapon to turn girls against each other) I think it’d be amazing if post-series Anthy and Wakaba reflected on their own jealousy issues as a way for us to see how far they’ve grown now that they’re free from Ohtori’s clutches. :o I believe if Anthy and Wakaba gave each other a chance, they’d see they have more in common than they think: they’ve both been used by Saionji (physical/verbal abuse for Anthy, abandonment for Wakaba) and they held on to fairy tale ideals only to have them blow up in their faces because of who they are (Anthy unable to save or be with Dios ‘cause LOL SHE’S A WITCH, Wakaba being too “normal” or insignificant for any prince to bother to notice her) Yet both of them remind Utena who she truly is and what she is fighting for, helping her regain her agency—and in turn—revolutionize the world.
And I want to mention how much the Wakaba jeep in the movie means to me and how much it makes me wibble. ‘Cause omg. ;;

I just want a universe where the five girls can be puella magi in a system that isn’t a load of horse baloney, or living happily ever after in Godoka’s magical girl heaven. Maybe something based off the PSP route where Homura takes care of everybody (aka the one where Mami becomes a beloved pop star) and they succeed defeating Walpurgis? Maybe an early timeline where everybody roots for Moemura? Post-series timeline where everyone works together and Homura tells them about Madoka (or tries?)
Homura x Madoka x Sayaka
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Madoka loves Homura and Sayaka, Homura and Sayaka tolerate each other and learn to be friends and/or possible lovers as well.
With Homura and Sayaka, this is where you can exploit the Enemy Mine trope for all its worth! :3 If there’s one thing that unites those two, it’s their love for Madoka and their desire for her well-being. I can see them both competing over Madoka who can please her most, while Madoka herself nips conflicts in the bud due to her love for both of them. One of the things I liked about Rebellion was how much Sayaka matured and how… aware she seemed to be of Homura’s situation, indirectly telling her she’s been through something similar and can help her if she’d let her. Then there’s the fact Sayaka seems suspicious something is Off with Homucifer’s world, and she’s likely the catalyst to helping Madoka regain her memory and stop/save Homura for good.
tl;dr: for all Homura polyships, all the Rebellion fix-it fic please. Fuck yes.
Mami x Kyouko x Sayaka
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody
I’m absolutely in love with A Different Story, aka what I call Puella Magi Mami Madoka. I loved the character studies of Mami and Kyouko, and the way it dealt with their relationship with each other, from teacher-student to clashing ideologies to eventual forgiveness. But what really got to me was how Mami agonized over self-perfection. She wants others to see her as capable/calm/selfless/experienced and BE the role, or else when they find out she's not the "cool big sis" they imagined her to be, they would abandon her and sentence her back to loneliness... something I personally relate with all too well. So the scene where she confesses to Sayaka that she's not the flawless heroine she was hoping for, and later, the arc with Kyouko confronting Mami after her break-down? Knowing that Sayaka didn't care and saw her as a friend, warts and all, and Kyouko fighting to help her and sacrificing herself in spite of the rift in their relationship hits a strong chord with me. I found it heartwarming and consider the ending to be bittersweet because of that; Mami realized that she had friends who loved and respected her regardless of the decisions she made, and expressed hope in her farewell letter that the five of them would meet again in another life someday. Which I totally believe they do at the entire of the series, thanks to Godoka. ;; Hell, Hanokage ships those three together as much as I do, even giving an entire page to talk about them.
So whether it’s the three of them meeting together in the afterlife, or a timeline where they’re happy and alive together to the end, and of course, the ol’ “Living Together in Magical Girl Heaven,” I’m good. :3

Pokemon has been in my life since I was ten, and when I got Blue version at eleven, my whole world flipped upside-down. 20 years later, here I am. XD
Morty x Eusine x Falkner
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Morty loves Eusine and Falker, while Eusine and Falkner tolerate each other enough to please Morty.
While Eusine was on his search for Suicune (which I headcanon started when he turned ten, making him 20 during Crystal/HG/SS), I can see Morty starting to see Falkner a lot and falling for him. He tells him about Eusine, eventually introduces Eusine to Falkner, and everyone agrees an OT3 can work out. That said, I also see Eusine and Falkner not liking each other too much at first (Eusine finding Falkner way too serious and rigid, Falkner not trusting Eusine to not dump Morty for some pretty purple-maned diamond dog) and competing for Morty’s affections, in and out of bed. Nothing too serious or angst-worthy—hell, the two of them could grow to see they aren’t as bad as they thought the other was, though that drive to see Who Could Please Morty Better would always be there. Hell, Morty might be amused or turned on by this competition too. <.<
May x Zinnia x Lisia
Preferred Poly Dynamic: May loves Zinnia and Lisia, while Zinnia is fascinated by Lisia and just getting to know her and the world of contests (though she doesn’t partake in them herself)
I fell in love with May/Lisia thanks to the remakes, and the Delta episode introduced me May/Zinnia too. Put the three characters together, and this could get interesting. :o I can see Zinnia watching May at one of her contests to see what the fuss is about and be introduced to Zinnia. She doesn’t partake in contests herself (hell, Aster would probably be more interested than she is), but I can see her being fascinated, especially when it’s May—or even Lisia—up on the ring. :o
Dawn x Lucas x Barry

Those three are pure and precious and wonderful and I love them. ;; I see Dawn being the Champion and Lucas being Professor Rowan’s assistant, but that’s my personal preference and the way I played D/P/Pt. ;D How do Barry and Lucas react to some of the Legendaries Dawn has caught and befriended, from the adorable Shaymin to goddamn Darkrai and Giratina? What if Lucas ends up with a Manaphy egg and gives one Phione each to Dawn and Barry? I like the idea of each member of the Lake Trio being matched with one of the kids like in the Pokemon Adventures manga, so have fun with that too. : ) Do they partake in Underground adventures and lay traps for each other and whatnot? I spent HOURS digging around Underground. (cough) Or it can be something simple, like the three of them getting warm during Sinnoh winters by sharing the same scarf. : )

I’m a hardcore Volkner/Flint shipper, but after seeing gorgeous fanart, I couldn’t help shipping Volkner/Jasmine too. ;; I love the idea of Jasmine becoming friends with Volkner and Flint during her visit to Sunyshore, and I can see them seeing her in Olivine in return (cue Flint teasing Volkner endlessly about Jasmine. During the fugitive storyline in Rescue Team, the Absol you meet in the snowy mountains is the one Pokemon who joins you in your quest to find Ninetales and discover the truth about the human who abandoned Gardevoir. Now that takes a certain amount of dedication and trust, and one that I believe sticks with the Player and their Partner (hell, I know it did for me). Does Absol become something like the unofficial “Second Partner” after the main story? Does Absol accompany them through the post-game dungeons and Gengar’s redemption arc?
Grovyle/Player/Partner
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Player loves Partner and Grovyle, while Partner and Grovyle have come to respect and trust each other.
Speaking of redemption arcs, boy does PM2 have them. In this case, it’s not that Grovyle needed redeeming, but proving his innocence to the Player and Partner. Especially the Partner, for whom they had come to admire Dusknoir so much and has trouble coming to terms with him being the actual antagonist while Grovyle was actually the one trying to save the world. :o I want to see their journey together more in depth—I want the Player to come to the realization that Grovyle was as important to them in their Human life as the Partner is in their Pokemon life, and not willing to give either of them up. (Cue the tears due to Grovyle sacrificing himself, then later the Player, leaving all three of them all alone anyway. OUCH) Maybe in an AU or Arceus deciding to Play With Dimensions, Grovyle is able to stay in Player & Partner’s world or is able to go back and forth and visit them, or else see them one last time?
Dusknoir/Grovyle/Celebi
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Grovyle loves Dusknoir and Celebi, while Dusknoir and Celebi are acquainted or become friends.
I've loved Grovyle/Celebi since Celebi implied having a crush on him, fell for Dusknoir/Grovyle when I saw this official art of them (go figure, my Enemy Mine fangirlism went off the charts), and then when all three of them worked together to stop Primal Dialga... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! There’s so much to work with when it comes to these three! :o
How did Grovyle (and in extension, the Player character) and Celebi first meet up with each other and agree to save the future? How many times has Dusknoir caught Grovyle and/or Celebi and they managed to escape? While working together for the first time, how does one nurse the other if they get injured? How do Grovyle and Celebi help Dusknoir adjust post-game after the future is saved? Do Dusknoir and Celebi take the chance to get to know each other better? Feel free to throw in Pokemon post-Gen 4 onward. What does Grovyle think of the idea of evolution, let alone Mega Evolution? Would that have thrown a wrench in his plans, or would he think that would slow him down? All I ask is if you're writing post-ending fic to not warp Dusknoir back into being evil, as I believe that will undo all his character development.
Super Smash Bros.
Smash Bros. Take the biggest Nintendo stars (and a few from other franchises), put them in the same arena together, and watch them duke it out. People had crazy crossover ships in this fandom before, but then Brawl came out with Subspace Emissary, and BAM! The shipping reached critical mass. :o

The Red & Lucas storyline was my favorite from Subspace Emissary, and after reuniting with Ness (who earlier saved Lucas from the Pokey Statue and Wario in a dramatic gesture of heroism *fangirl sigh*) it only makes sense for the three of them to become close. :o What’s it like when Lucas introduces Ness and Red to each other?

I have a headcanon that Villager used to be timid and kind of horrified about the idea of brawling (as shown in Brawl’s Animal Crossing stage), but thanks to Ness and/or Lucas’s kindness, they gained the confidence to become a Smash Fighter themself. :o I’m not picky whether it’s male or female villager… hell, they can even be NB, trans, or on the intersex spectrum if that’s what you want to work with. :)
Lucas x Ness x Red x Villager

So Villager and Red aren’t Smashers at the same time (Red in Brawl, only Charizard in Smash 4)… needless to say, I do not care. XD Maybe Red sends Ness and Lucas letters, and they talk to him about Villager? Maybe Red visits to root for Charizard and the three of them? Maybe Red doesn’t brawl himself, but stays to tend to Charizard and the other Pokemon after their battles? Maybe they all get a time to hang out in between Brawls, like a visit to Onett or the Villager’s town for a burger lunch or something. : )
Optional for all ships, and only if you know the canons: all the canon mingling from Pokemon, Earthbound, Mother 3, and/or Animal Crossing will make me one happy soul~ ♥

Earthbound gives me a lot of warm and fuzzy feelings, and it's given me a gaming experience I'll never forget. ;; Weird enemies, a lot of laughs, memorable characters, horrific nightmare fuel... and of course, how utterly heartwarming the whole journey is. ;;
Ness x Paula x Jeff x Poo

I want to see those four kids grow up and become happy in a world free of Giygas. ;; While they’ve no doubt been through some terrifying shit that’ll likely stay with them in their later years (see: willing to sacrifice themselves as robots knowing the risk they could never come back and see their friends and family again, Mother. Fucking. Giygas.), they discovered many incredible things and had rich experiences throughout travelling the world that they wouldn’t give up for anything, and if anyone knows this journey best, the one filled with smiles and tears… it’s shared by none other than the Chosen Four themselves. So please tell me how all of them keep in touch with each other, and being there for each other throughout their lives: Ness getting help with his guilt regarding Pokey, the boys helping Paula deal with the stress from the paparazzi and her memories of the Happy Happy cult, Jeff having a cheerleader throughout college and letting him vent when things between him and Dr. Andonuts aren’t going well, and Poo being assured that his ancestors will be proud of him and he’ll do a great job when it’s time for him to be king. ;;
Optional: I love Tony and Jeff/Tony, so if you want to mention him somewhere, feel free to have Jeff/Tony be canon, Jeff letting him know about his relationship with Ness, Paula, and Poo, and Tony being okay with it (though he won’t be involved with Ness, Paula, or Poo himself). Just keep the Chosen OT4 the main focus. ;)

Madotsuki/Frisk/Chara
Preferred Poly Dynamic: Everybody loves everybody (with emphasis on Madotsuki)
Madotsuki is a hikikomori who may or may not have had a traumatic violent past, judging by the horrific sights she can encounter in her dreams and the fact one of the "effects" she can pick up is a knife she could use to stab anything and anyone (and is not necessary to the gameplay unless you use it to slash open a wall to a secret area, which at the end is a disturbing mass of imagery that scares her awake). And judging by the ending, implied to be suicidal. Chara is another child who may have or may not have had a traumatic violent past, judging by their hatred of humanity. Their suicide was successful, and if the Player decides to go the Genocide route, they can be warped into a cruel and violent person. While kinder than the three of them at heart (you have to gain Chara and Madotsuki’s trust to access their softer centers), Frisk has the same potential for cold cruelty and mass destruction. Like Madotsuki and Chara, they’re implied to be suicidal and may have been neglected, and harbor the same curiosity about their surroundings and certain “what ifs.” Like Madotsuki, Frisk is calm regarding frightening sights and situations, sometimes even to the point of apathy. Considering everything the three of them might have endured pre-game events, I'm astonished how much they have in common. I can see Frisk trying to help Madotsuki and Chara at the expense of their own safety, while Madotsuki and Chara emphasize how much their life matters—and eventually realize theirs have value too. I'm far more interested in "Sad Angry And/Or Numb Children bonding" over "Sadistic Serial Killers in partnership," but other than that, I’d love to see what you come up with!
