Dream-blocked. D:

shamanicshayminNew Year wasn't much. We didn't even get to see any balls drop. :( (Apparently, my parents went to bed before midnight, nom. They were extremely tired and I don't blame them) James and I managed to kiss in the final seconds of 2011 though! And he gave a gift of an amethyst key. Later, I remarked that it was better than any Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts.
Me: "I wonder what kind of world I could unlock..."
Him: "...My heart."
Awwwwwww! Yes, I'm mushy. Shut up. :P
Anyway, I had a dream last night where I met Patrick Wolf. ;; So I ended up missing a schoolbus and usually walking through a dense forest with a large road, and bus-hopping. For some reason, I found myself at a festival where movie-clips were playing. (Including Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure. Ye gods.) Suddenly, I was watching a stage magician among a large audience. Not a whole lot of tricks, or at least those that were clear. One involved a three-headed man coming out of a wall to eat off a dish, and another where an assistant came in with a pink cake and the magician was eating the disgusting parts, judging from the reaction ("Ewwwww!") of the audience.
Then the show is over, huge applause. Somebody was calling me. I thought he looked familiar... he had short red hair, wore straps, and looked as he did on the cover of "The Magic Position."
"Remember me? I'm Patrick *insert indistinguishable garble here*"
"What?"
"Patrick *mixed garble again*"
"...Patrick Wolf! :DDD"
Then he picked me up and hugged me. We did not stop clinging to each other as he carried me out of the theater. I told him I was a gigantic fan of his music and that he was a humongous inspiration to me, then I quickly started to talk about my novel to him. ("I-I'm writing a book! It's about Raggedy Ann & Andy. Andy has to save Ann... um, Andy meets a magician along the way, a marionette. His name is Marius. They start as enemies, but they fall in love--") At this point, a lady (a reporter, I think?) comes in and interrupts the living hell out of me. I try to politely tell her I'm talking to someone important, but she kept yammering and yammering and yammering. Patrick Wolf was quiet the entire time since our greeting, so then, I realized I was in a fucking dream. So I quickly told him what I could, and onto the point that I was trying to reach: "I've... considered you playing Raggedy Andy. That's why I've told you all this."
Then, I probably woke up before I got the chance to say it.
Imagine meeting one of your all-time favorite musical artists, getting embraced by them, having them listen intently and being genuinely interested in what you have to say, AND THEN YOU GET FUCKING COCK-BLOCKED. Or dream-blocked, in this case. ghdsjkghdskjghkjdsghk FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, TROLLESTIA. MESSING WITH A YOUNG FANGIRL'S DREAMS.AND I NEED A SCAPEGOAT.
