shamanicshayminWhoo, happy July! It'll be several days before I go up to Wisconsin with my mom and brother to see my cousin's wedding~ ♥ So I'm gonna spend a lot of time getting ready, nomnomnom. I wanna see if I can beat the main storyline in my new White game in time for me to finish up the N/Touko fill at the kink meme. So far, I've got five badges.
Kikuichi (M) - Dewott - Level 31
Grete (F) - Leavanny - Level 29
Shirley (F) - Scraggy - Level 26
Vienna (F) - Musharna - Level 29
Dyna (F) - Excadrill - Level 31
Catherwood (M) - Archen - Level 27
Strong Mad (M) - Darumaka - Level 26
This playthrough sure is interesting! I'm using mon I didn't think I'd care much for using at all. :o Like my Purrloin, she ended up holding really well on her own in comparison to the first time I tried using her. She was level 17 by the time I had to box her, which was just short of evolution at 20. What a bummer. I've been trying to pick up mon I used in my Japanese Black rom, hence Leavanny, who's definitely a keeper in my party. I was gonna catch Sandile again, but Drillbur and I became unexpected sisters. ;; I thought I'd be frustrated with her with the lack of decent moves, but she held her own (the Eviolite helped) and she ended up getting better and better and now she's evolved, and people aren't kidding when they say Excadrill is badass. Just... WOW.
Wotter's okay I guess. But I keep thinking about jellyfish. Jellyfish. The one I had in Japanese Black was spectacular, but the one I caught in White... not so much. He must've had really poor IVs or something. :( I ended up using Scraggy again because I'm a loser. The one I had last time had Shed Skin and must've had lower stats or something 'cause I was kind of struggling to keep him in my party. On the other hand, I have Shirley, who has Moxie, and she's been holding her own~ ♥ I dunno if I have it in my heart to catch Mienfoo again and replace her. D: I LOVE MY PANTSLIZARDS. I love my kung-fu ferrets/weasels, but... but I love pantslizards more. *sob* So much for rebuilding my Japanese Black team again.
Leavanny, Dewott (be loyal to your starters!) and Excadrill are keepers, and it looks like Scraggy is to. I was gonna trade over an Escavalier to see what training one was like (since I never get to raise Pokemon who evolve via trade, except the time I was lucky with Alakazam. And maybe Gengar), but yeah, no more bug types for my party. :P Sorry Escavalier! 'Til next time! This means no Galvantula for this round, boo hoo. ;; Darumaka's like a glass jaw. I know he'll get better, but augh, it's a pain because Hustle makes his attacks miss sometimes, and his low defenses don't help. Maybe I'll catch me a Litwick again. Nomnomnom.
And Puri gets eaten by the TV Tropes abyss. YAY.
