SatAM
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
My sister liked SatAM. Me, I had two Game Gear games (Sonic 2 and Sonic Chaos) and four tapes of AoStH. I remember what little SatAM I did see though; namely the episode where Sonic was reunited with Uncle Chuck and later torn from him again. Sonic was being comforted by Sally and he was crying. Since then, it's been cemented in my mind that Sonic was vulnerable given the right circumstances and be emotional when he wants to. He was a headstrong confident hero capable of grief, which was novel for me at the time.
Fandomwise, I always wanted to watch the series, but I was intimidated by the elitist snobs intent on shredding my most familiar Sonic canon (SEGASonic) and favorite character (Shadow) into pieces. I wanted to stand up for my Sonic canon, but was always frustrated since I didn't know enough of SatAM to back my argument and see both sides. (And sheesh, don't get me started on the Rabid Sally Matyrs. @.@;;;) I was worried the show would be poisoned for me after those nasty experiences. After enduring fandom idiocy and my own fits, I was encouraged by Scribbler to finally watch my box-set of DVDs. Not only was she kind to me and understanding, she got to watch as I went through the episodes and fell in love. :) Puri invited her brother to watch the whole series with her too. *nod*
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Once I have a fandom I adore, it's pretty much cemented. XD Sure, I have fandoms that take off-times whenever I have another obsession, but you never know when something might pop up. Hell, I wasn't even thinking about Mario lately and popped in Mario Galaxy for the hell of it, and look what I'm playing lately. XD
03: Favourite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I liked Season 1 best, primarily because the episodes felt more SatAMie and gave equal amounts of attention to the cast rather than just shafting Bunnie for a useless half-episode of Antoine. XD That, and the animation. The animation in Season 1 is cute. Season 2? Hideous. Don't get me started on Rotor's new design and everybody looked better with full-color pupils. And Ant is ugly. Ewww. D: Anyway, let's break it down by episode!
Warp Sonic: One word: Griff. Seriously. I did NOT expect to fangirl him so much. oO;;; I'm also a sucker for underground civilizations and cities, so I would've loved to learn more about life in Inner Mobius? (Sub-Mobius?) Wouldn't it be fun if the show continued with some episodes centered on the Freedom Fighters doing missions in Inner Mobius? Hell, those Ratbots were fucking scarier, I bet there's worse monsters down there.
Ultra Sonic: Uncle Chuuuuuuuck! ;__________;
Sonic Conversion: Uncle Chuuuuuuuck! ;__________; Dammit. Bunnie was so happy for a few seconds before having it ripped away from her and leaving her in tears. It hurts watching her disappointment. :(
Spyhog: Uncle Chuuuuuuuck! ;__________; I think we're sensing a pattern here. His episodes rock, okay? It takes real guts to go back to Robotropolis to work in secret again. T____T UNCLE CHUCK I'M ROOTING FOR YOU
Blast to the Past (1 & 2): I think this is mandatory. XD Who'dve thunk King Acorn was such a flirt? Wait, he's played by Tim Curry. Neeeeeeeeeeever miiiiiiiiiiiiind.
The Void: It strikes me weird that after being so damned evil and frightening, Robotnik is reduced to a stupid comic figure by this Ixis guy. oO;;; Anyway. While King Acorn is a despicable ass in Archie, in SatAM he genuinely does care about his daughter. So after they get separated again, Sally isn't the only one missing him. :(
Harmonic Sonic: Proof Rotor can kick ass and look good doing it. Plus, space! :D
Sub-Sonic: THE definitive Rotor episode. Plus I like that the Freedom Fighters get to go to other places aside from Robotropolis. Audrey II! All that's missing is Bunnie. *kicks out Antoine*
Cry of the Wolf: Lupe is made of so much love and win. I'm glad we got to see more of her before the show got canceled. :(
So... I like Season 1 and several of 2? :DDD;;;
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Yes! Of course I do! I made several icons, an RP journal (Rotor), and I have incomplete fics in the works. XD
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Sure! It's a good show and I'd love to plot with more people. :DI need to find more Griff fangirls. *whimper*
Pokemon
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Blue on my 11th birthday. Forums led me to badass Pokefic and onto FF.net.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
It's been in hibernation for a long time, and somehow it's back to full swing! :D I think it's the D/P/Pt generation.
03: Favourite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I don't watch the show anymore. XDDDD! Snow-Way Out! still makes me wibble though. We get a headlight on Jessie's past and Ash was willing to freeze to death while hugging his Pokemon. ;_________; I always loved Toshihiro Ono's Dengenki no Pikachu manga, so I hold a lot of other PokeManga and other media to super high-standards against it, it's that awesome. :o Both the Clefairy stories (the one with Bill & Oak and the other with Mimi and her Jigglypuff) are my favorites, because the art blows me away and the stories make me wibble. ;;
Now this is where my PokeFandom strength comes in... the movies.
Mewtwo Strikes Back! I can't decide whether this or Lucario are my favorites. This movie is precisely why I watch the other movies: a darker and complex storyline with more depth than what you'd ever find in the TV series. Mewtwo's Origin is sweet and tragic and the movie itself made me cry three times upon watching it. That's deep, man.
Lord of the Unown Tower: As I've told friends countless times, it's scary how well I see myself in Molly. I sure as hell didn't know it when I first saw it in theaters. I just knew I liked her a lot. Definitely one of my all-time favorite human characters from the Pokemon movies.
Latios & Latias: And the dreams of every Ash x _____ shipper are crushed~ ♥ It's a cute movie, and it made me love Latias and Latios! :D
Mew and the Hero of the Wave: THE GREATEST LOVE STORY OF ALL TIME. ;_____________________________; It had EVERYTHING that made PokeMovies awesome. Hell, the only thing I didn't like about it was Mew! XD
Giratina and the Sky Bouquet: I'm so happy they made a good movie for Shaymin. ;_______; It was cute and beautiful and it made me smile~ ♥
Now, the movie version can go to hell. But if Ryo Takamisaki is telling the tale of the Rise of Darkrai in manga format, I'll wholeheartedly embrace him. :D

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease? Mystery Dungeon people! I know you're there! Come out come out wherever you are! You can't deny you want to write a billion fanfics of Grovyle, Celebi, Grovyle/Celebi, Dusknoir, etc.! ...Somehow, I have a feeling those crickets are flipping the bird at me.

Nightmare Before Christmas in both games too. Jack and Sally are so cute. :) Timeless River was a neat trip down memory lane.

I save neat art from DA, maybe read a fic from a trusted friend, but other than that, not much. I like holding discussions with people IRL if they recognize the game though. :o
