shamanicshayminGod. I swear I want to yell at certain people in Sonic fandom and lecture them until I turn blue. (Or better yet--them) Observe:
*identity hidden for the innocence*: “Don’t get me started. In my eyes, she is nothing more than an Amy faker who craves for sympathy. Having Cream as a sidekick (not that it bothers me, I don't like Cream either) and holding Sonic’s interest... isn't those two things Amy's features? All I can see her as is an attempt at making Amy less liked. Plus I’ve been flamed by a bunch of Blaze fans because I didn’t like her, that didn’t help. Also, I have never liked it when a new female was introduced into the Sonic game as it normally starts off couple wars and Blaze has certainly done that… I think I’ll shut up now.”
Ah ha. Ha ha ha. AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAA! XDDDDDDDDDDD! Don't get ME started, hun. For one:
1. Since when did Blaze ever "crave for sympathy" like an emo kid? If I recall, she pushed other people away for trying to help her in general. She wanted to do everything on her own. Doesn't sound like she's mewling for everyone else's attention, hm?
2. Since when was Cream ever Amy's "sidekick"? Best friend, I could get. But side-kick? Nuh uh, never said that anywhere in the games. If you mean in Team Rose, then hell, Big must be Amy's sidekick too. (OMG PURPLE CAT LOLZ) Or would Big be Cream's sidekick, or Cheese be Cream's sidekick? 'Sides, when it comes to duos, SEGA always stressed "Cream & Cheese". Cream & Cheese this, Cream & Cheese that. You know... as in cream cheese?
3. Blaze never tried to go after Sonic like Amy did. And if Sonic finds interest in "Sonic" in actual canon instead of *le gasp* your ship imagination, is it Blaze's fault? Nobody hates Sonic because he has "Amy's interests". Therefore my friend, you lose. :D And the "make Amy less liked" thing. People hated her LONG before Blaze came, and her fanbase is huge enough to fend for itself. (Not to mention she's the most popular Sonic female)
4. Flamers. Ohhhh, boo hoo. It's their problem if they flame you, but yours if you react to them.

5. I hate to break it to you kid, but... Sonic himself "starts off couple wars". So did Tails, with the whole Crails vs. Tailsmo wank, and does anyone hate Tails for that? Wait, male characters are NEVER at fault for couple wars! *cough* Also, wouldn't Amy be in this catagory too, especially with the ruckus the Sonamy fans are going about with the chance of SonLise being canon? Maybe I'll post this onhated_character, with more detail and less snark, but I don't know if people consider Blaze "hated enough". But ooooooh, is it tempting.
I swear to heck Amy Rose (nothing against her as a character, of course) has some of the worst defensive fanbrats ever, probably coming home with the Bronze Booby Prize after the Rabid Tails Fanbrats (Silver) and the Rabid Shadow Fanbrats (Gold). And even if I didn't detest Sonamy already, I swear I'd already strangle a whole bloody lot of its screeching legion.
