So, I had this odd nightmare last night. Basically, it was about the residents of "Animal Crossing" eating this odd chili pepper that makes them mad, and then... they try to literally eat me. oO;;; I wake up several times in the dream (not for real), and my bed covers would be navy-blue and I'd see none of my stuffed animals (except for my Sonic & Shadow plushies and my teddy bear Cussy), and then I'd get stuck in my AC Cannibal dream again, with me trying to escape alive and keep the villagers and I think my family and friends trying to bite and make me bleed, and tear my limbs/flesh/organs with their teeth and creepy stuff like that. Suddenly, after I wake (in the dream) again, everything turns into Legos and I'm jumping really high and flying around, trying to escape them so I wouldn't get eaten and have a happy ending. I leap castle after castle and see oceans and... I don't think I escaped, and the dream shows the futility of that. Cue morning, when I wake up for real.
So Puri goes to Dream Dictionaries online and this is what she figures out:
Cannibalism: To see cannibalism in your dream, symbolizes a destructive and forbidden desire or obsession. In a literal sense, cannibals consume people's lives, along with their energy. This dream may then denote an aspect of your life (career, relationship, children...) which is consistently draining your enthusiasm and vitality.
To dream that you are a victim of cannibalism, signifies that you feel that you are being "eaten alive" by work, a relationship or a situation in your waking life.
Wake: To dream that you are waking up in your dream, indicates that something is missing or lacking in your life. There is an aspect of your life that you are not utilizing to its fullest potential. You are not recognizing your abilities.
Castle: To see a castle in your dream, signifies reward, honor, recognition, and praise for your achievements. It foretells that your future will be a happy one, surrounded by the love of your children, generosity of neighbors, and comfort of friends. You are destined to a position of power, wealth, and prestige.
To dream that you live in a castle, signifies your need for security and protection to the point where you may be isolating yourself from others.
Blue: Blue represents truth, wisdom, heaven, eternity, devotion, tranquility, loyalty and openness. The presence of this color in your dream, may symbolize your spiritual guide and your optimism of the future. You have clarity of mind. Depending on the context of your dream, the color blue may also be a metaphor of "being blue" and feeling sad.
Jumping: To dream that you are jumping, indicates that you need to take a risk and go for it. You will find progress toward your goals.
Flying: If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you feel that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success.
In reality, we do not have the ability to fly. Thus such dreams may represent that which is beyond our physical limitations. In your mind, you can be anybody and do anything. Another way of interpreting flying dreams is that these dreams symbolize your strong mind and will. You feel undefeatable and nobody can tell you what you cannot do and accomplish. Undoubtedly these dreams leave you a great sense of freedom.
It's... freakingly scary how accurate this is. .______.;;; Even if I don't understand it completely, though part of me says I do...
1) Keyboard or biro? What's "biro"? oO;;; It depends, really. Usually I scribble in a dairy/journal, then I post up the results on Word.
2) Beta or no beta? Betas are my gods. XDDD!And I could always use more~!
3) Title? I'm really bad with titles. XDDDD! Occasionally, I get a good one now and then, but otherwise they often turn out pretentious or verbose and ick. XDDD!Usually if I can't think of a title, I get inspired by song titles. *SHOT'D!*
4) Smushy or smutty? Smushy~~ ♥
5) Summary? I'm really great at those. X333~! Dunno why a lotta people don't like them. I think they're fun. X333 I find it pretty easy to summarize my work anyway, even if it's a plotless drabble. XDDD!
6) Funniest fic? It's Good to Be in Love, aka the Sonadow*Parody. Drabblewise, my two Waluigi & Daisy ficlets, any drabble that involves the characters playing video games, a SSBM drabble spoofing YTMND, and a 100-word drabble of Amy visiting the hospital to find Sonic in a body cast. XD
7) Most popular fic? My old discontinued Mariofic with 30 reviews. XDDD! LJ/DA-wise, pretty much any drabble/ficlet I've deemed nifty enough to share on DA. (Including my two Drinking Games for Mario and Sonadow Fanfiction) XDDD! My ficlets/drabbles on my LJ tend to bring daily squees for a few of my friends, but Poignant Poinsettias (Christmas!Shadamy), From Ground to Shrapnel (Knuxadow), and my
1sentence Sonadow sentences pretty much struck a cord among people. :o That, and I think my two Sonlazes. X3
8) Most Fun to Write? Tough call, 'cause there's a lot of them. XDDD! Mainly most of the Mario fics, a couple SSBM, and definitely a lotta the humor ones. That, and Puri writing Geno/Mallow for herself on her birthday around two/three years ago. XDDDD! That, and Puri cheered when she wrote A Gentle Prison, my first bits of Sonadow writing like ever. XDDDDD!
9) Best and Worst? Best was definitely To Be Real, aka the Geno SMRPG fic. Hands down. The absolute worst of my worst is deleted, THANK GOD. @.@;;; Still have some stinkers in my LJ though, like that overdramatic sappy ficlet I did of Grizzly of "Animal Crossing", a New Year's ficlet that kinda bombed on me, and some weird Shadow ficlet where I was trying to be Lain-esque and failed miserably, hence making a drabble that's pretty much confusing and serves no point. XDDDD!I guess that's why I hardly write 15-minute-ficlets anymore... XDDD;;; That, and Awake. Eeeeeeeeeeeew. XDDD!
10) Coulda Been Contenders? My old discontinued Mariofic I mentioned earlier, which had a LOT of potential and had a neat plot--but I was humongoidly young, disorganized, and stressed out, not to mention completely raped her story George Lucas-style by rewriting everything when the older drafts were already uploaded on FF.net, and the entire thing was humongoidly melodramatic and had a Gary-Stu as one of the villains. Overall, the entire thing was too huge for Puri to handle, so she had to quit writing it. That, and there were a couple drabbles/ficlets I was hoping I'd add more punch to, but the result was more dull than I wanted. XDDD;;;
Finally, there's the Secret*Fic and a buncha incomplete one-shots in my dairy/journal/compy. Someday...
11) Strengths? Ideas, brainstorming. I'm pretty good coming up with ficstuff and inspiration. I like tapping into the characters and getting into their heads, poking more than what's usually seen on the surface.
12) Weaknesses? Getting started, easily distracted. I'm a humongoidly awful procrastinator. ._________.;;; I think my prose also tends to get a little boring or long-winded/verbose, and I've been told I get kinda flowery/purply, so that's something I gotta fix. XDDDD;;; I abuse similies like hell and say them weirdly. I also make slip-ups in my grammar. Arg.
13) Dirty little secrets? I haven't wrote in aeons. Which really makes me feel effing sad and empty and hollow. ._____________________.;;;;
