Finally, N isn't the type of person to leave his past behind him. He still rides the ferris wheel, visits the ruins of his old castle, etc. He reminisces of his childhood and thinks about the person that he turned out to be, how it affected his choices, etc. rather than "zomg my past was so terrible!" He acknowledges the good and the bad; and uses that to grow so he could further realize the truth/ideals.
*giggles guiltily* But to be fair I only figured the opposite before BW2 came out! >.> BW2 proved me wrong, lol. Kinda makes me want to write fic where he takes Hilda and Hilbert to visit the ruins of the castle.
