1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? Actually, quite a bit. oO;;; Um... getting my wisdom teeth pulled, and on the way to getting braces. *nodnod*

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I always fail, but I keep trying anyway. XDDD;;;

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yep~! Before we met, [livejournal.com profile] carriepika had Evelynn Rosemary Riff, March 8th, 2005. :)

4. Did anyone close to you die? Directly? No. Indirectly, people I've passed by? Yes.

5. What countries did you visit? None.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? Better movies. XDDDD;;;

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? November 15th. SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG SHIPPED.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Overcoming drama that's been bugging me this year, opening myself up to more friends, actually writing more often than last year. :)

9. What was your biggest failure? *shudder* The two Drama*Breakdowns that happened and leeched me since May. And that scary fic I wrote last month that I'm thankful never saw the light of day.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Only recently I was sick with a horrible headache on Christmas Day, but now I've recovered. :)

11. What was the best thing you bought? All my CDs, like NIN's "Downward Spiral" & Sarah McLachlan's "Fumbling Towards Ecstacy". (Funny how I put that in the same sentence. @.@) AND SHADOW~~~ In all its cheesy glory. XDDDD;;;

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Fwends~! :333 There's you, and you, and you... I love you all so much~! X333

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Fwends, sometimes. ._.;;; But even more so, Dad's been really awful this year. There's also all the rabid fanbrats/bashers I've complained about. XDD;;;

14. Where did most of your money go? Music. :33

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Um, "Shadow". ._.;;;; *points to above answers*

16. What song will always remind you of 2005? "Pretty Good Year" & "Happiness is a Warm Gun" by Tori Amos, "Bang Bang! My Baby Shot Me Down" by Nancy Sinatra, "Under Pressure" by Queen & David Bowie, maybe "Haunted" by Poe.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you you are: "More stable. Less whiny. More independent." --[livejournal.com profile] fukachi_itansha. (Pretty much sums that up. XDDD)

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Should've worked more on my Secret*Fic. ._.;;;

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Worrying and keeping everything that bugged me to myself. (Hence, carrying stuff for months and months and months...)

20. How will you be spending Christmas? Already spent it.

22. Did you fall in love in 2005? No.

23. Any one-night stands? No.

24. What was your favorite TV program? "Loonatics"! XDDD! I'm joking, of course. *MUTILATE'D!* Nothing really exciting's been happening, unless you count "Serenity" for the "Firefly" series. ._.;;;

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No... don't think so... maybe? ._.;;;

26. What was the best book you read? 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke, hands down! *nodnod* Followed by A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. HP wasn't bad, but... ick, did we need all the Teen*Romance Melodrama in HBP? XPP H/G, boo. XDDD;;; Ah well, at least there was a bunch of fun "Snape killed Dumbledore!" jokes on the Internet. XDDD!

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? NIN, definitely. *nods furiously* Trent Reznooooor... *______* Sarah McLachlan and Dido, too.

28. What did you want and get? "Shadow"~ :3333 Also those CDs I spied throughout the year and three DS games I wanted for Christmas. XDD;;;

29. What did you want and not get? No one had the Poe CD. ._.;;; That, and no "Sonic X" poster/Shadow keychain/Sonic & Nintendo shirts. Dammit!

30. What was your favorite film of this year? "2001: A Space Odyssey": I've officially sold my soul to that movie. XDDD;;; Other than that, it's been a really sucky year for movies... though I've had my fun little spazzings of Tim Burton with CatCF & "The Corpse Bride", and of course... "March of the Penguins" is single-handedly the best documentary I have EVER seen. *___________*

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old? At 17 years, we went to a roller-skating rink 'cause I hadn't skated in years! :D :D :D (Mom broke her arm since then. Um... yay? :/ ) We ate donuts from Krispy Kreme, I was left alone to rewatch CatCF, and came home to a neat little party with balloons and streamers in Sonadow colors in red/black/blue, with "Incredibles" cups and plates, (One of my gifts even came in a Vader*Bag! :333) and posted about in my LJ so my friends could wish my happy birthday, even show me cute stuff. :33 It was also the day I met [livejournal.com profile] dr_sipp. ;333

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If Dad wasn't so whiny.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? "Look, I have better, softer underwear!" Well... it's true. XDDD;;; Otherwise, my fashion's been the same: casual, with jeans & T-Shirt.

34. What kept you sane? NIN. "Sonic". Shadow. "Shadow". Music. Fwends. Humor. Photoshop. Writing.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? They diiiiiiiiiied. ._.;;;; Uhh... Johnny Depp & Ron Perlman. Yeah~

36. What political issue stirred you the most? Hurricane Katrina. The "Happy Holidays" bullshit. And just like last year, Bush being in office and gay marriage.

37. Who did you miss? I haven't been coming to AIM lately, haven't I? ._.;;;; Philleh... and I need to talk to Elisha again, I've been distant from him.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Do I have to start? *_________*

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005: Your friends are always there no matter what you go through. No matter what shakes the Earth, somehow we move on and it's another day: it's not the end of the world if a movie or games sucks, the fandom won't die. *glares HP & Sonic* It's time to let go of certain things and move on to a brighter future. Everything I've learned from 2005, I've learned from an amnesiac, grumpy black-&-red hedgehog who rides motorcycles, uses guns, and nearly blows up the world (twice!). Who angsts a lot.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

And you probably don't want to hear tomorrow's another day
But I promise you you'll see the sun again
And you're asking me why pain's the only way to happiness
And I promise you you'll see the sun again

And I promise you you'll see the sun again...

-- "See the Sun" by Dido

Thank GOD the year is almost over, eh? XDDD;;; Happy New Year, everyone. :)
