You get the feeling you've done something you feel ashamed of, and just want your mind purged so you can be "purified"? (Or at least, from depression and wangst) Kind of going through that faze right now.

Actually kind of afraid to try writing fanfiction, as even they're starting to turn into embarressing, emo*soap operas I cringe looking at a day later. 'Cause as far as I'm considering, whenever I write just to serve as therapic pieces for myself, it turns out to be the most gut-churning shit I've ever done--hence, I never write when I'm depressed. I know I'm not going to post everything online, so it's probably unhealthy I'm NOT writing--just that I get this urge to be good, you know? If I write crap, it's only going to make me feel worse. So I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place, except I don't know what to do. I just know I don't want to do anything stupid I'll end up hurting myself more.

I take myself too seriously sometimes. And I really shouldn't do that... this is what happens to me when I do.
