I'm gonna follow the bandwagon and share some of my favorite songs from Winamp: mostly hard rock and such, but there's also a couple classics and quiet stuff... And it's got a Sonadow song at the end, so you KNOW it's good! *BRICK*

At any rate, I think you'll like these. ^-^ Enjoy the downloads! ;3

Tori Amos - Precious Things: I don't know why... but apparently, I just love this song to death. The piano is gorgeous and crazy, which is one of the reaons why I think pianos are some of the most kickass things ever. And the way Tori sings... wow. Powerful stuff. What especially gets me is the chorus part, which still echos in my mind to this day... in a good way. It's just one of those songs that you could just listen to all over again, and over, and over, and over... and it still doesn't lose its hauntingness.

These precious things
Let them bleed, let them wash away
These precious things
Let them break their hold over me...

Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry, Be Happy: I love this song. T-T Hey, stop looking at me like that. Just... listen to him. The message of the song is RIGHT there... not to mention comforting and understanding, like he were an old friend... and eventually, you sing and snap your fingers to the beat, overall feeling much better. :D It's one of those songs you feel, not explain. ;3

VNV Nation - Frika: 'Cause ARGH, my friends need to learn more of VNV Nation. It needs the exposure, dammit! XD Anyway, this happens to be one of my favorites by them. It sounds like something that could play while you're on a hectic roller coaster ride--and I mean hectic. Very intense and just BAM. BAM. BAM. I love it. Long live Ronan Harris. ;333

E Nomine - Vater Unser: Whoa... just, WHOA. Gods, I miss E Nomine. And yes, this song is part Latin, mostly German... and yes, he's singing "The Lord's Prayer" from the Bible. ;3 I first heard this on a kickass AMV my sister was watching based on X/1999, which had footage of the T.V. series when it hadn't been released in America yet... and sometime later, on my old computer, I went Kazaaing for E Nomine like mad. Now I only have three songs left... *sniff* Oh well. One day, I'll get 'em back. Muwahahahaha. (Oh yeah, just in case, you may not wanna hear this song at night. XD Doesn't bother me, but I think a friend of mine got nightmares from another song of their's... which I may share later. So, just in case. ^^;)

Orgy - Social Enemies: Imagine this song being the first thing you listen to on the entire CD--imagine my reaction when I played through "Candyass" for the first time ever. It's like, Orgy wishes to welcome you with all their kickassness, and the lyrics and beat are catchy as hell ("Calling us no good, you are the social enemies, we change the people day to day...")/("Saints keep knocking, go home--don't sell me mary, no no...") and by the end... you're just blown away.

Then you think that was spectacular, then "Stitches" plays. *______* Not a bad start to a CD, I say!

Stephen Lynch - If I Were Gay: ...Aw MAN, the humanity. XDDD Seriously, this song just cracks me up everytime. ("Here we are, dear old friend... you and I, drunk again.") Now go download, the title is gold as of itself. XDDD And you guys'll LOVE the ending. I know it. ;3

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody: Oh god, the memories. T-T I loved this song so much, and I had to bug Philleh to help me find a good version of it. XD You may recognize this song from the beginning of "Wayne's World"--one of my favorite movies as a kid. So, this song holds a lot of sentimental memories for me, and it's just so beautiful. :3 And it's Queen--you know you'll love it. It's a classic in many ways. ;D

Saliva - Bleed for Me: It was love at first listen with this song--it really was. This came from the "Daredevil" soundtrack, a movie I haven't seen all of, and neither would I care. The CD though... just wow. (And not just 'cause Evanescence was on it, since I was long a fan of them before that time) "Bleed for Me" was my first love, 'cause... honestly. It's that beautiful and sad, just the way I like it with mah rawk. 8-) ("Just one love... just one life... just one chance to believe in mine...")

VNV Nation - Chrome: Muwahahaha! More VNV Nation goodness. 8-) And they aren't called "Victory, Not Vengence" for nothin' either. This song's still fairly not--it's not yet released on any CD as far as I'm concerned at the moment. :o And god, I adore this one... very kickass and beaty with all the lyricy awesomness/wisdom. Ronan owns, end the. 8-)

Frou Frou - It's Good to Be in Love: Good lord, I finished a fanfic, and it was named after this song. oO;; (Which honestly, otherwise doesn't really have much to do with the fic or ship it features. XDD) This song's really sweet though... and some of the lyrics are just cute. :) ("I'm adoring you--it's all good. You're so beautiful... I'm black and blue all over.") And read more for yourself. :3

It's good to be in love
It really does suit you
Just like everything
I'm happy you're in love
'Cause every color goes where you do...

And I should probably be sent to hell by now. XD But not before you hear this song for an uppity mood. :)

Sarah McLachlan - Angel: "Angel". Just... "Angel". It's sad, yet hopeful... and either way, very comforting to listen to. Makes a nice lullaby in a way, too. Again, one of those songs you have to listen to in order to understand fully--it's one of the most damned beautiful things I've ever heard. Kinda makes me feel like crying. Yet, I'm happy. And nostalgic, too. And you can tell how I feel about songs that make me nostalgic... :o

Orgy - Platinum: Damn, I have NO energy whatsoever, and I need to go to bed. XDD But "Platinum". I ADORE "Platinum". How could I forget "Platinum"? Yep, it's one of them Sonadow Songs I squee about constantly, not to mention it's got the highest number on Media Library in Winamp with 199 listens... soon to be 200. I have No. Life. Whatsover.
