Writer's Block: All About My Mother

I had to finish an overdue paper on Allen Ginsberg. @.@;;; All I have left is paying some dues and a final Psychology exam I'm not that worried about. And I could come home! Home! *____* Oh god. Talk about having a day of spring before Automatic Summer and Texas weather wants to bake me alive. @.@;;; GOD SO MUCH HEAT I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE
Oh well. Now I have room to play all the Pokemon I want! :D After catching Mewtwo, I'd done everything I needed to do in Leaf Green (except Trainer Tower, but eh, who cares?), so now I have Sapphire and Platinum to catch up on. Things aren't going so cool in Platinum 'cause my team is insufficient to Ghost-types and I got my ass kicked by Fantina. THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO LOSE TO GYM LEADERS SINCE EVER. I'M TOO GOOD FOR THAT. Guess maybe I'll have to revaluate my feelings for her, huh. Goddamit, Lawnmower Rotom and Grotle don't seem to sit well together. WHY DOES JOLTEON NOT KNOW THUNDERBOLT WITHOUT A TM!? Albeit, I kept resetting until I got a female, but I can't get to the Daycare and breed until I beat Fantina. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. I'll have to wait until I get home where my Wireless connection is super awesome.
Anyone else think Brendan's an idiot in Ruby/Sapphire? Gary was obnoxious but harmless, Silver was threatening but his superioty complex is worse than his bite. Brendan's just dumb and annoying while under the guise of being your partner. Which somehow irks me more than the first two rivals 'cause Brendan can talk to you like your're a clueless n00b and slip a subtle insult and get away with it 'cause zomg he's the professor's aide!!11! and your BFF.
Me: *after chasing Team Aqua to get Devon Goods back*
Brendan: *FINALLY shows up in town*
Me: *runs up and talks to him*
Brendan: I filled in lots of pages in my Pokedex! What are YOU doing? Don't just stand around! You gotta hustle!
Me: Um, I've BEEN hustling, you idiot. Aren't you even aware I've been chasing THUGS and a little too occupied to be catching Pokemon?
Brendan: *oblivious stare*
Thank god for Wally. Now THAT'S a friendly rival I can get behind. I forgotten how cute he is. ;; Now I always think of the robot WALL-E and have "Down to Earth" play in my head when I meet him. I love you, Wally! T_____T
I wonder how long it'll be before Heart Gold and Soul Silver come out. Fine and dandy if your starter can follow you, but why can't I have Typhlosion trail behind me? D: That'd be just as cute as Cyndaquil, dammit. It's like walking to town with your personal badass guard! *___________* I'm going to be disappointed in Amity Square if Genbu evolves from Grotle to Torterra and they don't let him in anymore. I can't be allowed to sit atop my own tortoise island? Fuck you. D: I want a picture of myself hugging Blastoise. That makes two turtles I like now... I wonder if my Blastoise and Torterra would be BFFs.
