I'm not being miserable or sarcastic. I'm honestly truly happy about my courses this semester. I have one more I have yet to see and that's Psychology. *knocks on wood* But dude! This is what I'm taking along with Psychology and Choir: Banned Books. Reading Women's Writers. Introduction to Japan. Greek Mythology. Best courses ever or best courses ever? I'm fucking taking Banned Books. I'm in a state of literary bliss! *____________*
I read Howl by Allen Ginsberg, with other poems of his. Why has no one shown me this stuff before? :o I was worried Virginia Woolf would bore me to tears, but I was actually quite fascinated by what she's saying in the excerpts from In a Room of One's Own our teacher instructed us to read in Women's Writers. Who knows, and I don't want to be too hopeful as I've been disappointed before, but if Woolf's novels are like her essays, I'm going to look forward to Mrs. Dalloway. :o
Oh my god. The first book we are going to read in Banned Books is Lolita. Which makes Puri one happy duck because she always wanted to read it. ♥ I got the first few chapters last semester, but I never had time to read more, and I was also reading Stephen King's Misery. XD But gosh we're gonna read so much sweet stuff!
Hell, I'm not gonna screw this up. I'm getting all A/Bs this semester and do all the readings and assignments on time. That means Tale of Gilgamesh comes before Internet drama and people complaining about Hetalia/Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter/10th Doctor/11th Doctor/Twilight on
