To Watch
1. Jim Henson/Frank Oz's "The Dark Crystal" (Due Friday for Movie Rental Store) (DONE! More on that in a bit)
2. The first several episodes of Azumanga Daioh (Due Friday for Movie Rental Store)
3. "We Called Him Robert" for Russian Sci-Fi class (Russian DVD/No subtitles) (Give back to teacher Thursday)
4. "The Great Mouse Detective" (6:00 showing at Union Theater) (6/10 aka Tomorrow) (I haven't seen this in years! AND IT'S FOR FREE T-T)
5. "Ratatouille" (6:00 showing at Union Theater) (6/11 aka Day after Tomorrow) (BECAUSE IT'S WORTHY OF A SECOND VIEWING)
I also wanna see "Across the Universe" (FUCK YEAHSEAKING BEATLES--MOULIN ROUGE STYLE *still hasn't seen Moulin Rouge despite knowing the music by heart*), except it's only opened at TWO measley theaters, and I have no idea where the fuck they are. That, or they're probably beyond the other side of town and I refuse to suffer heat stroke walking that far under the blazing heat. Hell, I don't even care if I don't see it right away. Pfft. :P So it's not as important as the movies listed above right now.
To Do
1. Finish reading the remaining half of Zamyatin's We and begin Bulgakov's The Fatal Eggs for Russian Sci-Fi. (Dammit, why am I such a slow reader? Especially considering We's paperthin and I like the book. oO;;;)
2. Write a reaction paper for Russian Sci-Fi. (Due Thursday) (Except I want to finish We first. Fuck! But he wants my thoughts on my readings, so this shouldn't be hard...)
3. Return DVDs to video store so I don't get fined.
4. Don't miss Great Mouse Detective tomorrow night.
5. Shower and fold clean clothes. And of course, there's laundry issues and ARG.
6. Make sure I don't die from stress. Again.
Other Stuff
1. Brainstorm and start working on everybody's PR0NTOBER requests. (Two spaces left. Jeshi, do you want me to hold one for you?)
2. Poke around with original designs for my First Published Novel.
3. Play Oregon Trail and giggle as the Chosen 4 die from causes like cholera and broken arms, but Everdred and Mr. Saturn survive to raft down the Columbia River together. XD
Okay, I lied. XD Well, kinda. I'm always pathetic when it comes to talking about movies, because my first impressions always seem short-sighted. But when I saw The Dark Crystal, I left the DVD room thinking, "...WHOA. *__________________*" Gorgeous film, brilliant design, just... wow. This is why I fangirl fantasy. *____________________* Gets really spooky though (*sigh* 19 and I'm still a wuss), so it was a good thing I had my Yoshi plushie with me so I could squeeze him when I got nervous. I'm utterly mesmerized by the art and designs, so I'll have to look up Froud's work later. :o
Fizgig reminds me of my doggie Amanda. Only she WISHES she could look this ferocious. I miss her already. XD
