Just because Pit, Meta Knight, Zero Suit Samus, Wario, and Solid Snake are the new contenders in Brawl, and that there's a possibilty that several characters from Melee are gonna get axed, Marth and Roy are NOT one of them. While you're freaking out over Pit taking the place of your precious Roy, take a good damn look around you. Everyone and their mom plays either Marth or Roy. Or Link, but that's beside the point. What I'm trying to get across here is that Marth and Roy are, if THE most popular characters of Super Smash Bros. Look at the SSB section of FF.net for chrissakes. Marth & Roy. Marth & Roy. Marth & Roy slash. Marth & Roy. Go to Deviantart, look up Smash Bros. Who has the most fanart, who's the subject of most comics? Why gee, I guess it's Marth & Roy!
So you? Wetting your pants over your favorite swordsmen not making it and glaring daggers at Pit and Meta Knight and whomever? Um, that's like saying Final Fantasy VII is an obscure fandom and that Square Enix doesn't bother to pay any attention to the game.
Now if you excuse me, I'll be in that corner knocking wood, because I'm sure as HELL lucky if Geno from SMRPG makes it into the game at all.
