Nov. 16th, 2006 06:23 pmBefore I get distracted and/or the computer fries me, I might as well spill it. One of the, if THE main reason I'm on an Internet break (and still am, and apparently may go on longer) is because of something that's been gnawing on me. And gnawing and gnawing and gnawing until finally, it was just too much. I'll say it and I'll say it now.
I FUCKING HATE SONIC FANDOM.
This is not an "OMG IM L3VING FANDOM!!1!" rant. I love the blue guy too much for that, and I know I'm just gonna crawl right back anyway. Rather, this is a "Why the people in my fandom should rot in a hole and BURN" rant. I realize I most likely have an unpopular opinion and will be ratted on by friends and enemies alike, but who the fuck cares. I'd rather die for speaking my mind then to die inside by being eaten by words never said.
I'll just let you know: after Puri keeps a secret for a long time, it pops like cola. Like... cola battery acid.

I know people will always bash what I like, but geez... in a situation like this, it just becomes too much.
If you disagree with me, fine. Crucify me. But please don't leave negative comments about how awful the new Sonic games are and how ZOMG UR WRONG AND DONT KN0W WUT UR TALKING ABOUT. I also don't want to be judged: I don't want to hear a WORD about how "ZOMG UR TAKING FANDOM TOO SERIOUSLY!!" or act like there's something wrong with me or I'm doing something wrong. (SONIC FANDOM'S NOT WRONG, U R!!11)
I want to be heard. For someone to listen to me. That my thoughts matter. That they're not written off as something trivial or annoying or stupid. 'Cause I've kept this in my head for too long, and there's no way writing it in a private diary is going to help me unless I share it with somebody. Otherwise, well... I've taken a few rocks outta the bottle, but the rest'll still be stored. Typing here is just my way of keeping myself from screaming before it ruins my Thanksgiving.
