Remind self that if Puri ever puts romance into her original novels, that it would actually contribute and fit nicely with the plot, further enchancing it and the characters along--not thrown in randomly like a kind of fandom fanservice to provide as useless "filler" to the story and butcher character growth in the process. Believe it or not, you can write plausible romance without jealous fits and petty revenges like dating your worst enemy 'cause oh noes, you're angry at your crush for dating Miss So-And-So. Especially when the character in question knows better than that. "So, that's human!" you say. That doesn't mean that from the way it's handled made me feel fucking sick.

Shut up. You aren't dramatic and scary and horrible, and you're not gonna storm the city and eat people like the lovechild of Godzilla and Trogdor whenever Ginny so much looks at anyone. She was one of the most kick-ass characters in the book, actually. (Puri likes teh Luna and Lupin. And Weasley Twins)
