Wow, what a weird day it's been today! XD Anyway, two nice things happened to me. I decided to bug to take me to Barnes N' Nobel so I can pick up more manga, and managed to pick up the 5th volume of "Fushigi Yuugi". Sought "MARS" though, and from the shelf I found it at, there was only the first volume. Um, for a pretty common manga series, what. The. Fuck? oO;; That, and when I found "Yami no Matsuei", they had volumes 4, 3, 2... but not 1. Noooooo! T-T They torment me! Cursed yaoi fangirls taking my manga... then when I wanted to check out "Azumanga Daioh" 'cause I've heard a great many good things about it from my friends, and all they had were mangas 3+4. I mean, they have "Yu-Gi-Oh!", and "Prince of Tennis" and frillin' "Hellsing", but no Azumanga. Aaaaaaaaah, my life suuuuuucks. T-T That, and all they had of "Fruits Basket" was the first volume, and I think I'd prefer watching the rest of the Anime' first before catching up on the manga. (Considering a certain spoiler on someone's gender... *coughcough* Thanks fangirls. >.<) Spotted the first novel of "Slayers" though, (Yes, as in novel, with occasional manga pics) and maybe I should've gotten that... *shrug* Oh well.

While Dad and I waited in line (That, and he bought a classic book he thought I'd really like called The Count of Monte Cristo) there was this girl about my age that waited with us. She spotted "Fushigi Yuugi" in my hands and spazzed about it, and told me that the edition I'm holding is the most recent and that they're gonna update the rest of the manga soon too. (What I have of Volume 2 is new, while 3+4 are older editions and are read left-to-right instead of right-to-left like the republished ones) She was the lucky one with "MARS 5" in her hands, and I told her so, when she directed me to the Teen section, saying where she found her stuff and a few more manga... I graciously thanked her, and grabbed with me to the area with renewed hopes. Turned out that while they had more "MARS", they didn't have much else, and didn't have the number volume I wanted. XD Oh well, I was still really happy, and the girl I talked to was really nice. ^-^ Dammit, why can't more "Fushigi Yuugi" fangirls be like this? *hugs sarajayechan* One lucky city I live in, Corpus Christi. ^^

Next I buggered Dad to drive me to Krispy Kreme, aka Donut Heaven I explained to him, and he went on and complained about how he used to eat TRUE high-quality doughnuts homemade from his grandmother that were delicious and wonderful instead of made "soullessly by machines", and blah blah blah, my Dad is old and just jealous he didn't get a doughnut like me. :P One glazed doughnut was all I got, freshly baked and yummy... and it was for free. Dad couldn't believe it either, but I certainly did. How lucky and sweet! And what a treat. ;-) ("Even if you came inside, we would've given it to you for free anyway. *laughs*" to quote the worker at the drive-thru. :33)

I finished Chapter 2 of my secret fic, and now I have it saved in my Creative Journal. ^-^ And of course, since we know the secret fic is Sonadow, nobody cares. XD Well.... *mimics Dad's tone of voice* HUMBUG to you all! XDDD But, if you're interested... *brick* Nah, you're not. XD I need to write a one-shot for FF.net soon or people are gonna kill me for my lack of updates. But no, secret fic compels. :o *BRICK*
