Why You Should Care When Pit Bulls Are Abused, Even if You Hate Them
It's amazing how loving, forgiving, and affectionate pit bulls are even after all the horrific abuse they've endured, like Louis. He got beaten by a stick and a shovel, then tied up and set on fire, but he still wagged his tail when the police officers came (he's fully recovered and in a forever home now. Thank goodness!) Go figure, we still get ignorant comments on the article. "Oh, pit bulls are abused and overpopulated, so we should stop breeding them all together, no one wants them and they won't be abused anymore HURR HURR HURRR" To invoke Godwin's Law, let's "euthanize" the Jewish population because of the hatred and prejudice and genocide they've endured, so they wouldn't be discriminated against anymore. I'm sure THAT will go over well with the community.
The prick who set Louis on fire (which he did because he threw a fit over his mom refusing to let him take the family car) didn't serve his full sentence, and guess what? He kills a 6-year-old kid, Aiden Howard, who was only watching cartoons when he got rammed over by an SUV crashing through the walls into his room. Only NOW does the justice system want him in jail and STAY there. Animal abusers and murderers need to be taken as seriously as those who already abuse and murder human beings, because they all have to start somewhere...
Yet we're supposed to believe pit bulls are the menace. Uh huh. Funny how pit bulls never light up their humans because they got denied a doggie treat. They certainly wouldn't be gleeful about them burning alive either.
