I've been thinking about poodles too! They're supposed to be smart and really easy to train. They cope horribly with drama and yelling though (to the point they literally get sick) so I definitely have to find a stable home away from Mom and Dad before getting a poodle or poodle mix. :(
How much do pugs shed? I know they shed every day, but how much? Is it regular old shedding you can easily clean or do they shed like Huskies and Corgies (aka enough to make another husky and corgi)? I'm also worried about separation anxiety. I don't know what kind of job I'm having yet, though I know I'm comfy working at home and I definitely don't want to ride planes all day. :P But I don't want my poor doggie to be miserable while I'm away 3-4 hours a day at retail either. :(
I'm looking at a lot of hypoallergenic dogs in case I have to move back to Mom & Dad's, since Mom's allergic to everything not like Freddie. In case I do have to move back, it would be the worst feeling in the world to have to put a shelter dog back for adoption. D:
