The half-wolf Huskie was also probably affected by its wolf half. Wolves are wild animals, period. You need multiple generations of selectively breeding the most docile wolves before you reach anything near a dog.
I actually prefer mixed breed dogs since they tend to be stronger, immune-system wise. Less in-breeding and all. My dog, Bruno, is half-Dachshund and half-Labrador.
