Oh crap, I accidently dissected Winamp. *clicks around*
...oO;;; OMG it's my old crappy Purpley*Earth Shadow winamp skiiiiin! *finally fixes Winamp and sets cheesy Shadow up again* Nostalgiiiiia~! And it had "With Every Light" by Smashing Pumpkins playing at the time. Awww...
...I want new Winamp skins. Only A. I don't know any good ones. B. I have no idea how to assemble Winamp skin parts together once I download them. Nooooes...
Not that I'm complaining, though. Eeeee, Shadow. *shutting up*
Well, I guess I've overworked myself today. I did the following:
1. Spent the entire morning making LJ icons. Particulary two Animé*Peach ones, SMW*Comic Mario and Peach getting married, and spent myself writhing in torment over an icon of Tikal. And yesterday, I iconned Emily (Aka the Corpse Bride) and
littlesquee (hikaru-michi) art. :) Hee.
2. After I finally decided to leave Tikal alone, I went to play "Sonic 2" on Game Gear on "Sonic Gems Collection" where I left off. And basically going on Chaos Emerald hunts. @.@ God, I was happy to get out of Reich Lake Zone. And holy hell, I actually made it to the boss of Green Hill(s) Zone instead of constantly falling into the needles like I did last time in SADX. oO;;; Left with a humongous headache after playing, and that was before the boss of Gimmick Mountain Zone. Curse that stupid spiked mole!
3. As I said... my head hurt. Walking outside, eating, and lying in bed didn't really help much. Well, Puri went back to the Tikal icon to figure out what was wrong with it, and made the final touches. Whew. Also read the first chapter of a fic someone recc'd me from a site I hate with ten billion suns--strangely enough though, I felt less traumatized as I came--it's like I got a lot out of my chest the one time I expressed my feelings on the site. Fic's okay so far, not bad. I'm worried about Amy bashing/Amy villianism though, so blarg. :( Yeah, 10 seconds as to what kinda fic I'm reading again. XD
4. And speaking of Sonadow fic, I wrote a little of my own again. XD Among my folders of incomplete one-shots, I found a file called "Some Sonadow", and it's at least a paragraph long of boredom. XD As I typed along in my burnt-out, weary state, it doesn't get any better: hence, I've written the world's most Boring Sonadow Fic Ever. Seriously, it made The Scarlet Letter look like "Indiana Jones". oO;;; I hate being burnt out, I can't tell whether or not my writing really IS that dull. :/We'll see when we get to... THAT part of the fic, though. Unless I chicken out again, per usual. *TANK* On second thought, let's--augh, indecisive, indecisive... okay, shutting up.
5. I watched one of my downloaded "Kirby" episodes this morning. :o
And, um... time for Mp3 post. :o
Sarah Brightman - Naturaleza Muerta: For
deryckak and in a way,
chicobo329. Bonus points if you know the title. ;D And those familiar with the translation of the song itself, it reminds me eeringly of the legend in "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak" from "Pokémon": so I hold quite a bit of a connection to that when I hear the song. Also that it's so damned pretty. T-T
Orgy - Eva: One of the more poignant songs of Orgy, and for good reason: Eva was also the name of their producer Josh Abraham's late mother. And from this song, I thought, "...OMG it's Shadow. oO;;;" It just... screams him, especially with Maria in the picture as "Eva". So, go download before I sound anymore lame. XD
Nine Inch Nails - Hurt: A warning before downloading, guys. Grab tissues. LOTS of tissues. You'll be building a castle outta Kleenix boxes when you're through. (Don't forget to tell that Peach is in another one) And if you thought that was bad, try listening to "The Downward Spiral" in its entirety from start to finish, without skipping any tracks. You'll feel miserable. Or at least somewhere along depressed. Or at least "...Wow." After all, ignore Puri. What does she know about sad music? XDDD
VNV Nation - Beloved: I was making one of the Peach icons, and I was using a lyric brush based on this song... and suddenly, I found myself playing the song again on my Winamp list for inspiration and nostalgia. Simply put, it still amazes me to this day. I'll never forget the day my sister played the song for me, right after I beat FFX so she could squee about Jecht/Auron to me, and thus... my first exposure to one of my favorite bands ever. So, I urge you. VNVEEEEEEEE~ Notice I sound lame for the songs I really want you to listen to. XDDD
Tori Amos - Mr. Zebra: 'Cause I'm up for silly songs like this. That, and I like word repetition, it's fun. *singing* With a Mrs. Croc! Ohhh Dile diiiiile diiiiiiile~ Kinda wish it were longer, though. XD Oh well. ^^
Vertical Horizon - Forever: 'Cause inside Puri is a humongoid fangirl that adores sweet, sweet cute fluff. Thus, has a heart for corny adorable music such as this. This is REAL fluff, dammit! Not the Harlequin garbage that exists in teen romance novels and OOC fanfic. But... this kind of fluff. :3 *baby penguin chirp*
Notice how I always say something stupid and/or embarressing in my Mp3 posts. XDDD Okay, shutting up.
