Two fictional men I want to punch in the face.
- N and Cheren are irritating me so much right now. At Chargestone Cave, N undergoes mood swings and friggin' uses ninja men to carry me around all over the place while saying I'm the "chosen one." Misery evolved into Emboar after I beat him, the positive thing about our battle. I had a lot of fun grinding along Mistralton City, falling in love with my adorable fuzzy spider as everyone worked together to help him evolve. Tantalus swept Celestial Tower, nomnomnom~ ;D Rocky the Emolga turned out to be more of a contender than I thought he'd be, and he whoops ass with Acrobatics. He tags with Tantalus with Volt Switch, nomnomnom~ ♥ Skyla's probably my favorite Gym Leader by far (pilots ftw!) and I had a lot of fun at her gym, and Tantalus, Rocky, and Harvey each had a turn to challenge her~ Rocky had Swoobat, Tantalus knocked out Unfezant before it even hit him, and Harvey had Swanna. :)
- I'm all fired up and elated, then guess who decides to stomp all over it? N waiting for me by the entrance of the Gym. Yeah N, you're the LAST fucking person I want to see right now. Don't you fucking dare lecture me. Then he's got the nerve to go interrogate my Scraggy for my personal information. N, what the fuck? BACK. OFF. If I was Touko/Hilda, I'd be telling him this sort of behavior is NOT okay. It's not friggin' acceptable to be friggin' Edward Cullen, human or Pokemon! Gods, I should be grateful he's not asking my Pokemon for credit card numbers. Though I find it funny since I left my starter in the box to protect her from Skyla's flying types, he asked my Scraggy of all Pokemon. You know Pokemon, N. You realize that Scraggies aren't exactly a trustworthy source. You fucking cheater. :/
Since I named my Scraggy after Frank Fly from Earthbound, that does give me odd images of N and a gangster in a pink pimp suit having a conversation together.
After fighting Cheren (a wild encounter or two), Scraggy evolved into a boss~ Oh boy oh boy oh boy~ ♥
- Likewise, I've been excited about bonding with my Pokemon, and Cheren goes around bitching about becoming the champion as if it's the only thing in the world that matters. God Puri, what are you doing goofing off and squealing over Tantalus and Rocky? Don't you see that's a natural part about being the strongest trainer there is? AUUUUUUUUUGH. I swear Cheren, you're making me look bad in front of Alder (who just hopped off a giant cliff and landed on his feet, by the way. :o) and it's making me ashamed I'm affiliated with you. If I could, I'd punch you in the nose, and if I was especially cruel, stomp on your glasses. At least you sounded friggin' caring and concerned about Bianca at the start of our journey. YOU'RE BEING LED ASTRAY, CHEREN. ...Assuming you had a soft side in the first place. Dear god, I'm hoping. As of now, I feel cynical.
Gods, Bianca's being more helpful than all of Cheren's encounters combined. At least she doesn't bitch at me for enjoying the company of my Pokemon. :/ AND she gave me the Dowsing Machine and HM Fly to boot! Permanently useful, unlike Cheren's stupid berries.
- Is it me or are Unova's Psychics incredibly slow? Take a look at their Base Speed stats:
Musharna: 29
Swoobat: 114
Darmanitan (Zen): 55
Sigilyph: 97
Gothitelle: 65 (45 and 55 for the pre-evos)
Reuniclus: 30
Beheeyem: 40
Swoobat and Sigilyph are the only ones who are fast, and they're both part Flying. :o
- Humph. What matters is I have Fly, so I have the freedom to go wherever I want. Plus delicious Surf. I'll do a team update after I catch more mon. My jellyfish is waiting! Remind me to snag another candle too, mine had a horrible nature. :(
