I've been waiting for him to review this!
Nostalgia Critic vs. Mike Myers in The Cat in the Hat
Words cannot describe how much I hate this movie. It's part of my Unholy Quadrilogy; they're movies that I've sat through from beginning to end (watching only parts don't count, otherwise Garbage Pail Kids would've been included) that I consider the bottom of the barrel. They've made me rage, pull my hair out, and feel like my brain had caught cancer. (The other three? Tentacolino, Cool World, and A Troll in Central Park)
So seeing NC rip this movie's organs out is quite satisfying.
But the main reason that I'm linking this review? Because of the speech at the end where NC stresses the importance and value of classic children's literature, pointing out they're not "just for kids." It's so beautiful. ;;
