I got to see Rise of the Guardians today! Now that is a cool film that I can recommend. Jack Frost is my favorite, hands down. And the villain, dang. I thought I recognized his voice, and sure enough, it's Jude Law. ♥ There was one scene that really bothered me though. So the film has Pitch trying to manipulate Jack and get him to join the Dark Side. I was worried we'd get the whole idiotic DUR HUR HUR JACK IS SO CONFLICTED WHICH SIDE WOULD HE CHOOSE thing, but Jack adamantly refused him every time, which is a relief. So it really bothered me when the movie tacked on a Big Misunderstanding scene with the other Guardians being angry with Jack for not coming back in time to save Easter. Jack didn't even bother saying, "I heard a voice! I thought I heard someone calling for help!" or even "I found the missing fairies! And I saw Pitch!" which would have led North and the others to be angry that he let himself be distracted and tricked by Pitch, and that would be understandable. But no. All Jack says is, "I'm sorry!" and they made it look like that Jack wandered off on purpose for selfish reasons (Jack has the container that used to hold his teeth? OH NOES THAT MEANS HE CARES MORE ABOUT HIS MEMORIES THAN THE BELIEF OF THE CHILDREN) and that just really annoyed me.

My favorite scenes involved Pre-Frost!Jack saving his sister on the ice and the Guardians making a competition out of collecting teeth, haha. The former was just really sweet and adorable while the latter is just hilarious. XD I'm glad I saw this in 3D, 'cause damn, the effects with the sand and the Sandman are pure eye candy. *-*

The latest MLP episode was great! I was kinda hoping that Scootaloo would dream about Rainbow Factory, but that's gorefic fanon so I don't care. It's so nice to see Rainbow Dash not being a jerkass. ;; And omg. Lunaaaaaaaaaaaa~ ♥

I totally want to watch Rise of the Guardians myself, but I know enough about it to know it's not a movie I'll be able to watch in theaters, lol. Jack is AWESOME and hot and HILARIOUS. Not to mention his interactions with the other Guardians are always awesome.

I also know of a few awesome fanfics on FF.Net, like the Coke and Mentos war one.
